i am getting my self prepared for a play session. i just relax........sitting back reading and focusing on myself for a bit.
i know Master will take care of me. And He is really great for emotional and physical aftercare.
Don't dwell on it. Enjoy all the sensations that the session will provide.
Hope the session was an enjoyable one for B/both!

I like the shoulder support idea, will be telling that to the husband when he gets home from work - that will make him happier about beating me! (We're still working on proper techniques to avoid over exhastion for him)

And yeeeaahhh....had a really good session. Posted in the "Hearing Pain" thread about part of it.....still all brain dead-ish this morning. And part of it was, eventually, me just not dwelling on what *could* happen, you're right Kristileigh! I just had to, at one point, accept that things were going to be what they were going to be and trust that I would be taken there safely.

That helped ALOT.

my favorite way to get ready for play is having rituals. i enjoyed walking in while He would be lounging on the couch reading, then stripping for Him, taking off my glasses, and then kneeling. He would then get up and blindfold me, put on my collar and sometimes a lead then lead me to the bed. With another Dom i would just walk in and He would be standing waiting for me and i would walk in and kneel beside Him and hug His leg. He would pat my head and ask me how my day was.

Oh wow - I like the idea of kneeling and hugging his leg. For some reason that just really hits the spot with opening up the intimacy channel right before a session.....! Rituals are a good thing, helps get into character - good suggestions, thanks!

On a tangent I have a question, see i dont have a clue how to prepare for a scene because i dont plan them, i have the anticipation of seeing someone and thinking maybe something will happen or whatever but never actually knowing, and i got to thinking do most people plan stuff like this? I kinda always saw it a bit similar to sex you dont plan that its just organic.

With our schedules, normally we do have to schedule specific play times, especially if they are going to be heavy or include other people. I do not, however, get the full run down before hand of what will happen. If I'm lucky, they'll toss me small bits of information such as "cock choking, so don't eat a full meal" or "better get that big vibrator out". I actually find it's more exciting to not know, it also keeps me from coming up with reasons to try and dissuade whatever activites are planned. (My mind can think of a million reasons why I don't want to do something, and sometimes, damnit, I just need to be surprised by it and do it).

I'm finally getting to the point where I don't have to talk about my hard limits to feel comfortable that they remember them. That's nice. So while the session itself is often planned, the scenes are usually a total suprise to me.

Ahh cool, thanks for explaining it to me, its the problem with not really doing anything much i dont think about reality (schedules).
