I perfer to be blindfolded most of the time to be honest. It helps me relax and just let go. Not having one on is also pretty nice at times....mmm nothing better than looking into his eyes while he holds my breath and takes from my body what he wants.[sm=mop.gif]

so many refer to them as 'sensory deprivation' and i dont find they deprive you of senses at all. yes they remove your sight and yes for some that HEIGHTENS the other senses for me i also find they add the sensation of somethign being on my head where i dont usually wear anything so it keeps me VERY much more present to the fact i'm in a room and being annoyed by something.... want me to drop into subspace? NO blindfold

Ok, I self impose closed eyes. Anyone else not need a blindfold to stay in the "dark"...

Not hard really, just different strokes for different folks.. Some sub/slaves love to be vision restricted and some do not. Some Dominants insist on the use of a blindfold to help build a mental picture in the minds of their sub/save and to aid in increasing the feeling of helplesness and not knowing what and where will be done to them. Experiment and see what works best for you and yours..

Blindfold, or more preferably a hood. I have a hard time relaxing and getting my mind to stop running at MACH 14, so removing external stimuli via a blindfold, gag, or whatever else inhibits my senses makes it more enjoyable for me. When wearing a blindfold or hood, my mind slows down a great deal and also focuses on the sounds around me, trying to figure out my fate.

Depends on the mood. If i'm playing in a public space it helps me to wear one so that i can focus on the sensations.....plus i like surprises! BUT.... Alot can be said for that eye contact.....having your hair grabbed and your head pulled back...looking into your Dominants eyes while they describe what they have planned for you......<shiver>

For me a good Dom is one I can-t predict ,,, full of surprises ... blindfolded or not ... the blindfold is as much an accessory or tool as the whip or cane. The Dom is what matters really

Blinfolds, hoods, masks, ......love them all. To have one sense taken away hightens the other senses. Very stimulating!

Working with my subs, I like to use a blindfold for multiple reasons: surprise factor lighting in my play spaces/my need for enough light oddly, as I thought about it, performance anxiety of a sort. When he's blindfolded, I'm not concerned about how I look when I'm working on him, and I can focus completely on exactly what he's feeling. If he's not blindfolded, I'm also thinking about what he's seeing, how my hair is getting into my eyes, etc. On the occasions when I bottom, I want a blindfold! I adore to focus on the skin sensory input—my dentist long ago agreed with me that I stood in line twice when it came to nervous systems. Lady Delilah Deb

Sometimes I love a blindfold to keep her guessing. But sometimes I want to see the passion, the lust the pain and submission as I play. So it depends on the scene.

I don't like them. The one time someone blindfolded me, I went into a severe panic. It's still something I'd like to try again with someone who is aware of my issue with it, and who might take me there more carefully.

I can't get to subspace without a blindfold. it helps me focus and eliminates sensory overload.

I like blindfolds, and they aren't implemented nearly enough around here! However, my whole house is pretty cavey to begin with when there aren't rugmonkeys about, I keep it pretty dark. I shall leave some of my bandanas and scarves about and see what happens...(but I'm betting that Evil Fucker will just wet one end and smack me with it [:D])
