I was up in Sacramento for the last five days, seeing my friends Ristretto and his lady, and we discovered right before I went up there, that NuevaVida had become friends with Ristretto and his lady as well.

So we all met up, and of course, it was like I had known NV forever.  We talked, we ate, we laughed, we drank, we hit a casino (although we didn't win a darn thing!), we went out for coffee and attacked a humongous chunk of chocolate cake (and I have the pictures to prove it!)... and the evening ended all too soon. 

The next day, Ristretto, his lady and I went to the Sacramento MaST meeting (what a great group of people!), and sadly, NuevaVida could not make it.  Hopefully we'll work it out on the next trip.

NuevaVida is one rockin' chick, and it was an honor to spend time with her.

 I knew that .. but then.. we've slept together. [8D] No, really.. it was just sleep.. I swear!  I'm glad you two had such a great time. She's has one of those personalities that you're just drawn towards. [:)] And NV.. I can't WAIT to see you again! I should be in CA towards the end of the first week of March and I'm getting an open ended ticket.. so, keep a date set aside for me! [;)]

Cali, you both are very lucky ladies.  I would enjoy hanging out with either of you, I'm sure.  So glad you had such a wonderful time.  [:)]

I am envious that y'all got to spend some time together, but downright jealous of the chocolate cake.  *damned diet* [>:]

We went into this coffeehouse, and Ristretto (notice, mind you, one guy, three girls) says, "whatever you ladies want."  NV and I spy this chocolate cake, about 8 inches tall, and it was a once a round cake, and there was perhaps 1/3 of it left.  There was lots of "I want THAT" being said... and they brought us THAT and four forks.  The first pic is of NV's hand reaching out to grab a handful...

Caliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii babe!!!  OMG that was fun.  And YUM to that blasted cake. 

But you're right, it's as though we've known each other forever!  I had a blast, even though I had to sit on a bench after awhile at the casino...Grandma waiting for the chillun.  Heh.  I hope you guys had fun at MaST.   I was hanging in San Francisco and had a great time there.

Let's do it again!

Oh yeah, and Celeste is yummy to sleep with.  And geez girl if you'll be here in March I'm kidnapping you!!  Woot!

BRN you are the sweetest.  Big hugs to you and to Red...you guys need to come on out here.  I'm sure there's more cake where the last one came from! 

So Cali, when ya coming back??  [:)]    And oh yeah, I have decided I need to camp out at the coffee shop and wait for that beautiful man to reappear....I still have his delicious "You don't have to move a thing" echoing in my head.  [8D]
