For once I’m glad I got one of these tests wrong although she sounds more like a sociopath than a psychopath. Not that I’m an expert, mind you – I only took the one required psychology class in collage. I remember how the professor described the differences between a sociopath, a psychopath and a psychotic.
The sociopath kills his grandma because grandma had five bucks in her purse that he wanted. The sociopath knows that it is considered wrong to kill your grandma – he just doesn’t give a shit. Come Thanksgiving when grandma isn’t there to serve up the turkey, the sociopath understands why grandma is not there (he killed her) – he just doesn’t give a shit.
The psychopath kills his grandma because grandma looked at him funny. The psychopath knows that it’s wrong to kill your grandma but… you see... it doesn’t really apply in this case – grandma provoked him by looking at him funny. It’s her fault! Come Thanksgiving, the psychopath understands why grandma isn’t there to serve up the turkey – but it’s not his fault damn it! It was grandma’s fault! So get off his fucking back already!
The psychotic kills his grandma because grandma isn’t really grandma – she’s an android secret agent from planet X, sent to earth to implant a computer chip in his brain so the evil overlords of planet X can track his movements here on earth. The psychotic understands that it is wrong to kill your grandma – but what does that have to do with this case? Surely it is not wrong to kill android secret agents from planet X? Come Thanksgiving, the psychotic understands why grandma isn’t there to serve up the turkey - typically, those being replaced by android secret agents from planet X are killed. Luckily for everybody, the psychotic spotted the imposter and took care of the situation.
