My opinion is that it is simple really. All you need to do is change your attitude. I like cliche's, they obviously became a cliche for a reason.

I get it. Like:

"Look before you leap" and "He who hesitates is lost."

or

"There's always tomorrow" and "It's later than you think."

Howm I doin?

reminds me of a profile i read recently where the person was doing the hokey pokey with each sentence; put a thought in, then pulled it out in the following one. the third sentence he just put it back, shook it around, and said nothing (or else should have).

Isn't that what it's all about?

In my opinion, it's really all about me. However, I do have a very good friend who has always averred (look it up) that it is...and always has been....about him. When we first met I was very skeptical but, as I got to know him better and heard his numerous arguments in support of his egocentrism, I must say I almost became convinced. This sent me into my well known "Blue Period", a time of intense self-doubt marked by reexamination of all the concepts I'd taken for granted for so long. A real existential crisis. As the world watched with bated breath, I wrestled my demons into submission and got my mojo back.

So thanks for asking: "Isn't that what it's all about?" Your question gave me the opportunity to clear up some things that many people have probably been wondering about for many years.

You're welcome.

Bob

What was it that did the trick exactly? The hokey or the pokey?
