MstrPBK -> Disabitliy Issue Question .... (1/6/2009 4:14:12 PM)

One of my petitioning slaves has Spina Bifida; which I believe is the spinal column not forming correctly.
Could any one tell me if FF/Fist Ficking/Handballing would be a safe thing to do with this person?

I stand corrected (1/6/09) somewhat embarrassed

I have spina bifida...it's not the same as brittle bone disease.   Two entirely diffterent things.  You might want to do some research online.  Just a suggestion.

Sounds to me that she needs to ask her doctor about this particular topic.

You may want to ask her...each case will be a little unique.  Some will have more sensation than others.

Well there are a couple of types of Spina Bifida...but you should ask a doctor, because if she can't feel below her waist
you might hurt her or tear her, and she wouldn't even know.

This is just a suggestion but a close friend of mine has some serious medical problems, so her Mistress went with her to the Dr. and asked specifically what type of play she could handle.

Yeah but as has been said every case is differant. Talk to this persons Doctor, it will depend on the case which only a doctor with case notes x-rays etc will know about. Dont risk it till you have asked.

BondageBarbieX -> RE: Disabitliy Issue Question .... (1/7/2009 6:59:52 AM)

I would ask a Doctor

hereyesruponyou -> RE: Disabitliy Issue Question .... (1/7/2009 3:30:39 PM)

I would definately ask a doctor familiar with their history and overall health. There are sometimes other malformations such as in relation to the bladder and urinary tract that causes increased opportunities for infection. A condition, disability or disease is never the same for any 2 people and going on general information would be irresponsible and could potentially be dangerous. On the other hand how much more comfortable would you both feel going into a situation with the doctor's go ahead for play.

The journey to get this type of information is not as easy as wynds makes it seem. Permission in writing, HIPAA laws, and even after all of this, many times their must be a marriage certificate. My sister lay dying being burned over 70% of her body from a drug and her live in man of 2 years could receive NO information until my other sister flew out 2 weeks after the initial admit date.
Many times this process occurs quickly if the D accompanied the s to an MD appt and the MD is willing to share.  A friend of mine took me to an appt and her MD's were a bit miffed with my friend for circumventing the information process.

I have S.B too. If the slave is in a wheelchair it'll probably mean they have no sensation or movement from the point of the break, down. Anyway, before I waffle on, the answer is no, as long as you take as much care with this slave as with any other there's nothing to worry about but, I'd ask him/her just to be sure.

Ok ... this seems to boil down to asking the persons doctor.
Thank you for direction and interest on this topic.

...my twin was born with sb. a hole in the back exposing her spinal cord. she doesnt have alot of feeling in that area. her bowels and bladder were paralized.  alot of things like her ureterus fell bc of the lack of muscle control ..so many things are different with sp paitients. but she does walk, just her feet turn in real bad. hope you find what your looking for....
