very real querry. was told i did an "ok' job of massage and should do research, so i'll start here. i have strong hands, so do not wish to do any harm. also, find a womans feet very sexy, but am not a fetishist. just wish to learn what she loves.

I've had GREAT foot massages, so so ones and down right painful ones. The trick is to NOT stretch the skin when you rub.

I agree, no stretching. What is nice is round motion and for me at least some pressure. Get some nice lotion and warm it up slightly before you use it. You can try a pumas stone too on dry skin. What you might try doing is getting a pedicure so that you can learn what they do and repeat at home with your playmate. With practice you'll make someone happy.

I like my feet massaged gently, but with some pressure. If you went to the Attila the Hun School of Foot Massage, I would not be pleased.

My suggestion is to practice. Ask her to tell you when you are getting it right, or when you are getting it wrong - and remember the difference. You can also try studying a bit of reflexology, which gives you an idea of which areas of the foot are going to be more sensitive to too much pressure.

i think the skin should gently roll underneath the thumbs when applying a bit more pressure than with your hands.my hands are strong also and in a constant degree of warmth.so i guess it's not too bad.

I like warm foot baths * in one of those foot tubs that airate* with some light pumice action. Followed by a nice soft toweling and a gentle rub of some minty smelling warmed lotion... from my ankles down.. the chair should be comfy and the music relaxing .. not alot of conversation ...and a nice glass of fresh juice or tea with lots of lemon..

Definately use the thumb in strong circular motions, pushing up towards the toes. Start at the heal and work your way forward. And make sure it's the bottom of the feet you are working on... I've had soooo many rub the top of my feet to the point where the skin is super sensitive!! I don't walk on the tops... I walk on the bottoms!! And keep a good lotion handy.

A bowl of warm water that has a touch of her favourite bath essence (not urine) in it.
Soak the feet, gently rubbing the undersides with a pumice
Pat dry on a soft, warm towel - keep the warm towel covering the foot that is yet to be massaged
Apply a copious quantity of lotion to your hands and warm it between them as I find using cold lotion on the foot unpleasant
Using a firm grip (never a light one as it tickles and this does anything but relax a person if they're ticklish) begin to work the lotion into the foot
Long, firm thumb movements on the ball/heel of the foot, with knuckles of your hand on the arch,
Place a palm of each hand on either side of the foot, do gentle 'twists', using the heel of one hand to push the side of the foot away from you while pulling it to you with the heel of the other hand
Once you have finished the massage and you'll know if she's been enjoying it by the sounds she makes, apply a pair of cotton socks to her feet as she won't want to walk on the carpet/flooring with slipper feet.

Dear Posters let us not confuse this man. There are pedicures and foot massages. I would think the pumice stones, pans of warm water and such fall more on the pedicure side, which he may ask us about in the future depending on what his Mistress may want him to do. For now let's have foot massage mean all that wonderful rubbing and squeezing. It really is best to use a lotion when massaging bare feet. I love Clearlogic's Naturally Hygienic Body Lotion with nopal and spearmint. But any good lotion is fine. A friend of mine showed me some wonderful techniques for massaging feet so I'll share them with you. Have her foot in your lap with toes pointed up, start at the heel/ ankle area one hand on either side of her foot. Slide hands toward toes applying the amount of pressure your Mistress is comfortable with, I personally like a lot but we are all different. Once the hands are at the base of the toes curve toes over the hand on the bottom of the foot. Also you can curve the toes backwards over hand that is on top of the foot. Do these two moves several times and your Mistress will melt. The instep is a great place for circular motion with the thumb (it's rather sensitive so it's a nice place to plant a kiss - with Mistress's permission of course). you should be able to feel the bones on the top of her foot, nice long strokes with the thumb between the bones feels ever so good. Rubbing between the toes is nice...On my I feel like purrring. Any way get a good lotion, use the techniques I have mentioned here and be creative....
You'll do just fine.

Reflexology is always nice to know as we are always on our feet. A nice foot massage is always welcomed.

Best advice is to try it and get the reciever to tell you how its feels...

One thing you might want to think about is lessons from a professional. Having a friend who is a license massage therapist has gone miles to improve my massage skills.

pedicure and massage can both be relaxing to the receiver. the medical aspect is to aid the lymph to return to the circulation. looking at a chart of circulatory and lymph flow. the main structures that need attention for feet walked on all day is to also massage the calves to get the muscles to relax and aid in lymph return.
