ORIGINAL: Sanguinarian : nibbles on Pomme while still snuggling the Fluffeh one. Well, you can bring like... hmm. A lamb shank? Lamb is an awesome red meat to have in place of beef if someone is worried about cholesterol. We have salad too on Easter ( symbolic of the coming greenery or something, Aunt Susie says. Meh lol ) you could bring that here? omg, I remember my first Easter with Leo's family. We had Aunt Beth's home made crescent rolls. I noticed there was not just regular butter, but butter creamed with honey ( Yum ) and mint jelly. I was like, mint jelly? During dinner, not for dessert? So I thought it was supposed to be used on the rolls. I've used mint jelly or even preserves on chocolate ice cream before, and it's pretty good. But we didn't have ice cream after dinner, we had meuringues. So I asked Leo why was there the jelly, if there was no ice cream? He said it was supposed to go on the lamb. Yuck. Then there was the apple sauce. Which was also supposed to go on the lamb. I had been wondering all freaking dinner why Aunt Susie was giving me dirty looks. Apparently the mint jelly and the apple sauce are a Southern thing for Easter? Well, I ain't from the south : laughs: So I ate the apple sauce seperate from the lamb, and thought the mint jelly was for ice cream. purrrrrrrrrrrr and oops on the first southern easter
