Hello All!

I have kind of been out of practice on this sex thing, and recently started back up again. My partner is great, and he can last a really long time. The only problem is I am wearing out physically before him, and I am just so sore and tender down below. I'm not quite sure what is happening, but the other day we had to stop right in the middle of everything because it was just too incredibly painful to have him inside me anymore.  Does anyone else experience this after being "out of commission" per say, and if so, what do you find is the best way to assuage the soreness?

Thanks for any and all replies!

I've had this happen, and lubricant helps me a lot. Even when I think I'm sufficiently self-lubricated, K-Y is often necessary to make sex pleasant after things tighten up too much down there. I hope things get better soon.

I, too, had this problem for a very long time, and it was a combination of not enough lubrication due to me being on birth control (we went and bought lube and used every single time after that) and in part, posititioning. For some reason, missonary and doggy style was actually easier on me than being on top. (which he liked, but we nixed after we found out that it made things very uncomfertable for me).

And I'm all for a guy who can last, but when it's just straight pounding for 15 minutes, that gets soooo boring for me, so I requested that he not decide to actually penetrate me until he thought he was really ready for a good, explosive orgasm. :)

Though lube is a good idea i recomend a trip to a gum (sexual health) clinic to check everything is ok, it may simply be that you arent used to it or it may be something else.

Get a regular smear done and see a doctor to rule out anything medical.  It could just be your muscles need to strengthen again, or you might have PID due to having a new partner.  But get a doc to check you out.

I have the same thing happen sometimes. However, as I squirt, lubrication is not the issue (believe me, we need more towels, lol). My lover is a bit above average but not huge by any means and we have sex often. I sometimes think its just a position issue, but can never recall how many positions we tried. However, as others mentioned, you should get checked out and discuss it with your Gyno. Good luck. :)

See your GYN, you may have a Uterine Prolapse (where the uterus has dropped from its normal position in the body, which leaves the cervix closer to the opening of the vagina) which can cause pain as the cervix is bumped. You may have also developed an allergy to latex ( if using condoms) that causes swelling and lubrication to dry up quickly. You could also be allergic to his sperm ( yes it does happen). There are a lot of reasons you may be experiencing pain, the first place to start is with your Doctor to rule out any medical conditions. Then go from there.

I am in agreement to have a gyno check you out just to rule out any medical issues.  I found that after my hysterectomy, I was more dry and somewhat embarrassed by it as I had always been very self lubricated.  I tried the KY though and it works just fine.  As for the pain, I had pain before I had surgery but afterwards it was like getting a present~~no more pain!  So I can live with having to use the KY...I hope everything works out great for you.  I think if you do go too long without having sex, the muscles tend to feel more strained too, so it might be something as simple as that.  Best of luck.

Hello unfaithed,

Is it possible you suffer vaginismus?
It sounds like it, if you've had this before,if not
then it could be an infection.

For vaginismus-problems:

It means to get really good lub,
My experiences with Eros are very well,
that doesn't dry as quickly as KY,
which get sticky and all that crap.

Also to masturbate yourself, and to learn
to relax your vagina when you enter yourself.
To learn to relax it, and getting control over that muscle.

I do hope you find a solution for it.

I wish you good luck.

Warm Greetingz
