Figured i'd post a flavorful, if not spicy, detail for you to read once you are back home.

Since you had to leave before we cooked out today i wanted you to know Scooter did cook your steak tonight. I could only eat about a half a pound of the one and half pound T bone he bought for you. So naturally i had the really good small round part.

It was soft as butter, juicy, really awesome. Tom the cat ate the small tail end, he licked his chops for about twenty minutes so it is safe to say he thought it was an excellent steak as well. I put the rest away, i'll heat it up in the morning so Scooter can have steak and eggs for breakfast.

See, aren't you glad to hear the steak did not go to waste?

It was a great visit, hope to get you back here soon, grins......

Well, it's the next morning and I still haven't heard whether or not he got home safe and sound. So I guess this is mainly for him, cuz' I know he'll eventually check this thread... He's waaaay over due and I'm worried.

Well, as much as I appreciate that.. don't hold them that way for too long.. they may get stuck!! And I still haven't even heard whether or not he made it back ok... Not sure if I should be worried sick or pissed??? lol

Yes everyone, it was a good visit, and from what I could gather, this is the one. There's a few details that will be very hard for me to overcome, but other than that, I honestly feel that I could be a happy part of Jewels family. And yes, Scooter whupped my ass on the poll table, but I got a measure of revenge in darts.(he didn't even get pissed)lol.

Well, now that I'm back in school after meeting Jewel, I'm seeing that this isn't really what I want to be doing. The education she'd give me will be far more valuable.;)

Oh and btw Tess, I'm really wishing that I had some of that steak Scooter cooked up. Like I said, I love it, and I actually thought of that sucker when I was setting down to eat "bar food" before returning home! Thanks for helping me out with that one! :) And glad Tom had a chop-likin good time..lol.
