ddogg2 -> Is a guy wearing womans lingerie wierd? (1/7/2009 9:16:23 PM)

Thanks to everyone who answered my post from last night.  Ok another question.

I've had a lingerie fetish since I was a kid.   I have found one woman who liked dressing up with me and doing in while we were dressed.   When I approach the subject with most woman they think its disgusting and they think there is something wrong with me.   Now I know this crowd has a much different perspective.   My question, in your experience am I that weird?   I have no desire to cross dress or to be a woman, its just the lingerie is a huge turnon.  Opinions?

Yes, its 'weird' because most men don't do it.  But its a fetish I'm sure a lot of people have, even if they're a minority, so I'm sure you'll find someone who likes it just as much as you do.

No, but it better not be mine!

I feel the same way!  I have said numerous times "Sexy is only limited by your imagination"  I find that yes, it is weird but only because I know that none (ok, maybe one) of the guys I have been with, would have ever been into that.  But it's a good weird.  I'm sure there are more people that feel the same way that you do. :)

Honestly, I really can't see this as being weird. That's probably because I know many men who are female impersonators that seeing or hearing of a male who enjoys wearing female lingerie as a fetish isn't strange. I view a fetish of wearing lingerie as normal as someone who has a fetish for wearing leather or latex or rubber.

Women have been wearing mens clothes for decades, I'm never sure why women don't allow men the same freedom.

YourhandMyAss -> RE: Is a guy wearing womans lingerie wierd? (1/7/2009 9:31:56 PM)

It's not something I would ever be attracted to or want someone I dated being into, but as far as weird goes, I've heard weirder things than that before. So liking womens frilly things isn't exactly what I'd call weird.

Even if that was to be the case, I will not subject innocent people to seeing me in a teddy! That's be too damn scary!

MsWolfPrincess -> RE: Is a guy wearing womans lingerie wierd? (1/7/2009 9:34:55 PM)

I'm personally not attracted to it, but as far as wierd goes, not all that wierd in the total realm of wierdness.

When I first started thinking about dominant guys and what they would be like, I didn't think I would see the Dom wearing lingerie  - but I met this guy - at the grocery store, not from a bdsm site - and he liked to wear pantyhose and heels. It was really fun during sex - Like, if he was on top, and had on thigh high stockings and a short skirt, the skirt would rub on me and add some extra friction at the top, which felt really good. And we had matching stockings and heels :) It was really cute and fun - but he was still dominant. It was so cool - It changed my mind about bdsm in a way - now, I think of things as activities instead of being only a Dom thing or only a sub thing.

Yes it's weird, but you're in the right place for this kind of thing.
We're all a little (or a lot) weird. Besides, normalcy is highly overrated. M

I find one of the most Masculine things Clothing wise is a Man in a Kilt. Which is basically a Pleated Skirt.

As far as Wearing womens Underwear and Lingerie, Guess what THIS IS VERY COMMON. Many Men are into it. andthe most common reason is because womens underwear and lingerie feel good against thier skin.

No you are not weird and the whole MOST men don't do it. Do what you like that is what this lifestyle is about expressing your Kink and knowing that it is OKAY.

So even though a lot of people have this fetish it's still "weird?"  Think before you type....

pompeii -> RE: Is a guy wearing womans lingerie wierd? (1/7/2009 11:13:29 PM)

Men do wear women's clothes ... sometimes so much that they cease to become womens' clothes. And that's sad.

Case in point: Pastel colors. Used to be, AFAIK, that men didn't wear pink. So, when you saw a hint of pink, perhaps walking at a distance, the sight kept your eye interested and you kept your focus on "her" until you could see more than just color. Same thing with a slit skirt ... just the hint of being able to see more thigh kept you more interested, and you focused more on her to the exclusion of another sans the slit skirt. Again, same thing with long healthy flowing hair, which is, IMHO, an unconscious sexual "flag" used to portray a vivacious female, typically, some would argue, the actual length and color of this 'flag' reverse trending with age and therefore ovarian viability. Sure, the strategy is totally subconscious ... nobody goes out saying "I'm going to flag my healthy ovaries tonight", but, that's what they do, biologically speaking, nonetheless IMHO (YMMV of course). And, this, my dear, is what keeps men interested in women, to the exclusion of more productive pastimes, like fixing a car or playing a game of football, none of which furthers the species reproductively.

Having said that, some men have clearly just as unintentionally "ruined" it for the rest of us, for example, by desecrating the pastel-color rule, simply by wearing them, and "fooling" us one time too many, so, no longer does the mere glimpse of a bright flower-colored blouse begin to fill our hydraulics with self-erecting fluids. Likewise with the long-hair flag. Sigh. Men have "tricked" us so many times, over the years, particularly thinner and more effiminate looking men, that it's often no longer the self-proclaimed flag it used to be.

Luckily, for now, today's men haven't discovered flowery lace, short skirts, or high heels! Only women wear lace & high heels (18th century frills notwithstanding), so, lace & heels and short skirts, in and of themselves, are still some of the few purely feminine sundries which still signal a woman's sensual earthiness by the mere sight of them! Thank God!

So what if it is weird? What's wrong with being weird?

Lashra -> RE: Is a guy wearing womans lingerie wierd? (1/7/2009 11:25:00 PM)

No your not weird, just doing your own thing. What does it matter what other people think as long as it makes you happy and is not hurting anyone else. If you've found a partner who enjoys this activity, I'd say your ahead of the game.

Good luck,
~Lashra

aravain -> RE: Is a guy wearing womans lingerie wierd? (1/7/2009 11:34:54 PM)

It's weird to me but I'm not you (and you're not likely to date me [:D] so my opinion shouldn't matter much).

Guys in girl's underwear just confuses the hell outta me... then again I'm not interested in girls' clothes for the most part. The sexiest underwear a guy can wear are boxer-briefs, in my opinion (they're also the easiest type of underwear to look 'good' in).

Girl lingerie is just... *shrug* not my thing... probably 'cause it's meant to accentuate stuff that I don't care about :P
