My girlfriend likes to dress me up in womens clothing and she wants me to get a pair of boots. Cant find any that fit good. Size 12 feet. Any help?

Avenue is a large size ladies store, and they have an online store as well.  They have larger size boots (although they only carry them in the winter).

Well, a size 12 is a 10 in women's.... while you may be less likely to find something in literal stores, I would really suggest Zappos.  They have a large selection of shoes, and since you aren't going to be trying them on in real life their free shipping (both ways) is incredibly helpful for fit and sizing.

Depending on what you want... and how cheap you want to go you could also keep in mind that you can buy upto a size 13 from Payless Shoes online.

Nordstrom's Rack, of all places, has a decent selection of women's size ten and eleven shoes, especially designer styles.  I noticed the other day because they had a pair of nice flats I wanted but only in size 5 and 11.  WTF?

Big and Tall Women outlet if you can find one, its where I have found boots and shoes up to a ladies 13.
It really depends on the maker of the boot.
I have a pair of boot with a 2 1/2" heel that are size 11, a pair of boots that are 12, most shoes are 11 1/2W or 12.
They are ladies sizes too.
Mind you, they are not cheap. Only outlet like it here in Vancouver, and they know and charge accordingly.
If I am lucky, the Payless Shoe Warehouse, on Robson, here in Vancouver has a nice selection.

I'm pretty sure the size conversion goes the other way... A men's 12 I think would then be a woman's 13.5 / 14.

Yes, the size does go the other direction.  Mens 12 would be Ladies 13 or 14.  Most, but not all, manufacturers stop half sizes after 9 1/2.

Not all are available, but I've seen pairs like http://www.smboots.com/product_info.php?cPath=79&products_id=1321&osCsid=98b32f4b281d152841cc15f0310c5146 that go all the way to size 16 ladies, or 14 mens.

I've shopped at www.snaz75.com, great prices and great service.  I had to return 11W, 12W to finally find out that 14W was what I needed.

If you need mary jane schoolgirl type shoes in patent leather, look on ebay, there are a couple of folks that have some very authentic (vs. "draggy drama") looking shoes. 

And off topic but similar, if you want to get an authentic school girl uniform, either jumper, tunic or skirt types, www.flynnohara.com makes uniforms for schools as their business, and they have sizes up to.. well, REALLY big.  These are heavy duty, will take a lickin' and keep on tickin' type REAL uniforms, NOT the "costume fall apart after a month" type.  Cost is actually less than most of the costumes also, about $35.00 each.  You have a choice of a zillion color patterns, kilt type, block pleats, knife pleats, various jumper models.  All have internal pockets for carrying who-knows-what with you..  I have purchased there also and have been extremely satisfied.

They also carry the accessories: ties, peter-pan collar blouses, anklets or knee high white cotton knit socks, full length stockings, barettes, etc.  Prices are competitive with anyone around, and you can custom order large sizes.

There are other uniform houses: childrenswearoutlet, landsend, frenchtoast, buckheaduniforms, sunshineuniforms, cookieskids, and ibiley, but NONE had the larger size selection of flynnohara, and you can be assured that with Mistress' prodding, i literally did 40-60 hours of research.
