elegantalexis -> Sir is not home and I am suffering from 'drop' (1/9/2009 8:56:26 PM)

I had Sir to play with me during the New Year holidays and I was enjoying the attention.  Now he is on a business run and suddenly, I feel neglected, run down and weepy.  Alexis is offering to spank me and get my mind off of missing Sir, but to me it does not feel the same.  I already did a bubble bath today and yet, I feel the cravings for Sir.  I just don't know what to do besides weep.

We're pretty far out for "drop" to be playing much of a role in it. Drop usually comes on 24 to 72 hours after play and generally doesn't last longer than 24 hours. I think it is more likely that you're just missing him pretty bad. Can you get a phone call or maybe some instant messaging in? Other than that, I would find stuff to occupy my mind or throw myself into some project. Maybe a nice long, brisk walk would help too.

Between the holidays and Master being out of town for the next few weeks, we haven't seen each other for awhile now. As mistoferin said, I don't think it's drop but that you're missing him. I miss Master as well when I can't see him like I normally do.

You just have to keep yourself occupied. I work, take care of my child, hang out with my friends, do chores, read, have hobbies and my spirituality that keep me busy. I also keep in contact with Master so it's not so bad. Sure I still miss him but at least it's not constantly keeping me down. You just have to pick yourself up and do what needs to be done.

I tend to agree with non drop  views too , yet understand the longing and missing .Treat yourself to some fun distractions , see a movie or two , go for that walk ,call him , mail him , call a pal and go out of the house .

I've never had "sub drop", but I do feel just like you are describing when I haven't been getting enough of Master. I have to read a book, get together with friends, listen to my music or books on tape a lot. Sometimes I just have to have a good cry over folding clothes. Hang in there, sweetie, and try to stay busy. It's better than going to bed and staying there, trust me. I've tried that, and it doesn't help. :-)

I appreciate what y'all are saying.  Hopefully Sir will be home tomorrow or Sunday, just depending where the next run is going to.

Luckily, I got my Gor books to read and Alexis to give me foot massages...[:D]
