The apostrophe thing is not spelling, it is PUNCTUATION! I am pretty mellow about misspelling in and of itself. After teaching for years, I came to understand that it is a knack, and not everyone has it. [:D]

Domina is Latin, a feminine noun meaning "the female owner of a slave or slaves". The masculine is "Dominus". When you make the noun into an active noun, "Dominator" is a person in the process of dominating someone, and a dominatrix is the female equivalent. This being said, I use "domme" all the time. People had best not speak Latin to me unless it has personal meaning. [;)]
