I don't mean say something mean or derogatory, but earlier someone viewed our profile who was seeking.  They have a pic up, which is grand, real person and all.  However, the picture is taken from a low angle and they have some massive boogies hanging out of their nose.  I guess I probably shouldn't say anything, it's not like they asked for feedback or even propositioned me, but I think I'd want to know.   After all maybe their vision is reeeaaalllly bad and they don't see the boogies.

I would never normally offer feedback on a profile if the user had not solicited it, but this seems different. I suppose it could be some kind of fetish too.

Thoughts, similar stories perhaps?

i probably would not mention anything but i would be turned off and not have much interest in getting together. If they don't care they have boogers hanging out of their nose in a pic, somethings amiss.

Wow, never ran across something like that.  Maybe it's supposed to be a joke, or a test of some kind?  If you don't say "hey, you have boogers in your pic" they'll consider you disingenuous or something?  Strange situation.

I probably wouldn't say anything.  Unsolicited criticism is seldom taken kindly.  There was a guy who wrote me who had a pic of him in what was probably  his bedroom, and the place was SOOO horribly messy, that I almost wrote to him asking if I could come over and tidy up for him.  I couldn't even look at the picture long, made me itch and break into hives just to see all that chaos.

Nothing like that has ever happened to me, but I'd probably say something about it... in the nicest possible way. If nothing else, just to be helpful? And if it is some kind of strange test, then at least they'll tell you?

If I was the person with that photo, I'd want to know. I'd want to die from embarrassment, but at least I could remove the offending photo and put up a better one.

You could suggest that they might want to use another angle...you can say "With this one I can see up your nose and that might not be the effect you wanted." without using the B-word..

Note to self:  Send pic of messy kitchen to WD.  Perhaps, she'll come over and clean :)

To quote all of the male submissives I've known, "may I please?  and can I do it naked? or in a maids costume?"

I actually did send a comment to someone who was perched on a counter with clutter everywhere...he got a little defensive at first but then I explained that the post party mess detracted from him and all he had to do was crop it a bit.

Exactly Angelika, I couldn't tell you anything about the guy in the profile pic I saw, but I could tell you almost exactly what was surrounding him....

Well... If I knew them to a degree (like here on the forums) I would bring it to their attention in the most subtle way I can.

But, since in your case, this is the first time you had contact with said person...
I probably wouldn't......

Tell ya what...gimme the name... and I will do it fer yah.....
Edited:
CMail it to me and I will.... in a subtle way, bring it to their attention....

If you had said that to me I'd be like sure, when are you coming by and how long can you stay, since the job may take a while.

I just have to say....."massive boogies" (I'll presume you were describing "boogers"..."snot bags"...."hangers"...."face anchors")....

I probably wouldn't... unless they were being obnoxious, and I was feeling bored.

As far as the boogie issue... I don't know, it'd turn me off of wanting to socialize with that person.

This thread disturbed me so badly, I had to go back to my own profile pics and took a close look at them.  Just to be sure I didn't miss anything dangling that wasn't supposed to be.

That would depend on how bad the photo was. A messy room or bad lighting I can get around. Boogies or stains on the clothes, things like that I will, if they make first contact. I dont go commenting on any old photo in a profile that pops up but if they contact me I usually will.

I see what the OP means, it's like those who appear to be suffering from dangleberries oe those guys trying to look domly but who just look as if they've just been kicked in the goolies.

The thing is, I wouldn't comment on a bad photo.. Not everybody is photogenic, I see a lot of photos taken from cameras in mobile phones and perhaps taken from cameras with timers, and maybe not everybody can use graphics software like Adobe Photoshop or the GIMP.

What is a photo anyway but a snapshot taken from a second of someone's life?
