Ok, so I went through the process and added pictures to my account, mostly with the purpose of using one as my avatar.

The first one I submitted (the one that I still want to use) couldn't be used as a main-profile picture, which makes sense. So I submitted one that can (a very silly one) and then submitted the one I want to use.

Is there any way to use any picture other than my main profile picture as my avatar on the forums? If not I'll just take them both down D: but having a silly photo up so that I can have the avatar I want would be worth it, I think.

Easy, scroll up. Top right hand side has a link called "my profile". Click it. Underneath the signature section is a spot that says "my avatar", select the first option, " Click to choose avatars." Then click the link you see there and choose one. Close the pop up window and hit okay at the very bottom of that profile page.

Done.

You misunderstand me... I want to use one of MY pictures (but not my main profile picture) as my avatar here, not one of the generic ones.
