Does anybody know of a good site with diagrams for bondage positions? Or does anyone have any reccomendations on any preferred or new positions?

Goodness, any way the body CAN be contorted!

Partial suspensions...spread hot ties....hair bondage...there really is no limit except what your body can physically be contorted into.

And I suggest NOT learning how to do bondage from websites. Find someone offline to work with and learn from.

go to Ties R us

My bad, that's a men's clothing store. Well, using your imagination is probably the best way to learn anyway!

Now, I'm off to Tie one on!

Peace, Kevin

The funniest story I have about bondage---I am not a rope chick, I love chains, chains are fast, lend them selves to spontaneity and My nails are too long for knots and such---when I was in Atlanta last year at this time, I met up with a sub who was a mod for a site I posted to---we happened to be out at Borders, getting gourmet coffee and perusing the books, ya have to love ron--right at the check out, he says at full voice, " Mistress didnt you say you didnt do knots well?" As he pointed to a book on knots---it sits today next to My bed with My night reading books, one year later I still can't tie a damn knot, but I have fond memories of the shocked looks in the bookstore at that moment and the sweetness of a sub to remember---

so as LA says, dont go by a book, find some brave soul and practice--but have the knife ready--smiles

I prefer hemp these days. Use nylon when I want it to look pretty and shiny or are doing general tie-down work.

Safety shears are very good, but need to be tested as I they are frequently defective. There are also specialized knives for emergency rope cutting that are useful.

hemp is good

can always smoke the hemp

Wasn't it George Washington that used to smoke hemp

Smoke hemp...use chain.....and have a chain saw ready in case you need to cut it!

On second thought......"Just say No!"

Peace, Kevin

Drop Nosathro a line and ask for admission to his gallery.

I was at a hands on bondage workshop this summer. Took me less than 5 minutes to stretch the nylon rope and get at least partially loose...and did it twice. Was told that hemp doesn't stretch like nylon does.

Generally no, but that's why it can be better for shibari and suspension- the roughness of the rope makes it grip to itself better, with better friction.

There's a huge variety of things you can do bondage with, everything from ribbon to rubber. Just need to figure out which substance will work with what you want to do with it and your own personal preferences.
