Re Chastity piercing. I personally adore PA's, and have had males pierced in the past. This is not something to just run out and do, naturally. Further, I concur that unless it is done by someone who absolutely has experience (and a good track record), one slip and the only real purpose of the PA would be decorative. After care is critical, but once they are healed...it's just a hole. The skin is healed. They don't hurt. In fact one male told me, that when receiving oral there was an enhanced, and very pleasant sensation associated with it.
Again, this is a personal choice, and I strongly suggest, that anyone thinking about this consider it long and hard. Talk to those who have actually had it done, and find out who did it for them. Find out for yourself what the pros and the cons are, and consider the dangers of certain types of piercings. Piercing loose skin on the shaft and at the base of the scrotum vs piercing through the actual opening of the penis...*shudder*
I had a male who wore a PA , and wished to be castrated. I researched it, spoke to doctors and several therapists. There is a name for the surgery, but I can't recall it. It is similar to a vasectomy, in that it's just a snip and burn, as I understand it. It provides that there is no longer any production of semen. He could still, however, achieve an erection. It was actually he who told me of the increased sensation following the piercing. That's my dime. [;)]
