A year ago, on Valentine's Day the collar was placed around my neck. So thinking of the upcoming Halmark Holiday that now actually means something to me, I thought about the only thing I can pull off this year is going through a box store or the craft store I work at and picking up items that are generally not toys but can be utilized as such. Of course I could re-wrap Justine by deSade as he hasn't finished it yet *snork*.
Anyway, as per usual, I am drawing a blank at what can be utilized besides duct tape (how about a cool hot pink) wooden spoons or hair brushes. He will not only understand if I don't spend alot, but he would be upset if I spent too much, but I still want to show some thought.
Monetary gifts are so overrated. My g/f brought home her roommate from college for me on my 20th birthday. Now that was a gift I'll never forget. Another girl told me to write down three wishes and she would make them happen (she added the stipulation it couldn't include another female, but it was still very nice and fun). Is there any part of you that you have not yielded to him? write it down and give it to him like a gift certificate to be redeemed at his wishing. Since you know live together, tell him you'll give him a BJ ever morning. I'm pretty sure he'll enjoy that more than a whip or a chain.
