ORIGINAL: Phantom1017 In your experience, what is the most effective type of gag to: completely silence a sub/slave? Is chloroform a gag? Excepting the use of general anaesthetics, nothing, but nothing, will completely silence a playmate, short of them keeping quiet. quote:
permit a sub/slave to emit no more than a very soft, quiet "mmmph" (no intelligible speech) An idea that works... Requirements: (1) a thin polyester or silk (cheap silk) square scarf (approx 30" to 36" on a side); (2) cotton wool (don't know what it is called in the States, but it is white fluffy fabric, used for removing makeup and other beauty treatments) - the type made in rolls not balls or pads; (3) either VetWrap / EquiWrap / VetBandage or crepe bandage and some medical adhesive tape. Instructions: (1) Lay the scarf on a bed, facing you as a diamond rather than a square (i.e. a point towards, you, a point facing away, and a point both left and right). (2) Fold the top corner to the middle, and the bottom corner to the middle, making a squashed hexagon shape (a point still exists left and right, but a straight folded edge is now top and bottom). (3) Down the vertical middle of the scarf (from about 1" from the middle of the top folded edge to about 1" from the middle of the bottom folded edge) run a line of cotton wool about 1" wide. Adjust this width to suit your playmate's mouth size. The wider the width of the cotton wool, the wider in the mouth the eventual gag will be. The longer the line of cotton wool the thicker (greater diameter) the gag will be. (4) Roll the scarf from the bottom folded edge all the way to the top folded edge, keeping the cotton wool neat. (5) End result - a good-looking scarf gag ("cleave gag") that actually has some biteable substance. (6) However, for the effect that the original poster required, "very soft, quiet "mmmph" (no intelligible speech)", wrap your playmate's gagged mouth with five or six turns of VetWrap (medical grade cohesive bandage), from the columella-labial angle (the junction between the columella - the fleshy strip between the nostrils - and the philtrum (the gently dimpled groove in the top lip) to the point of the jaw. (7) After that, tease your playmate to distraction (as is your wont), and determine whether or not they are making quiet "mmmph" noises or not. (8) Discard cotton wool at end of game, and launder the scarf. (9) Repeat as necessary to get a representative sample of experimental results. (10) As an alternative to VetWrap, use athletic or medical crepe bandage, and apply adhesive tape over the top of it. This may be far more likely to slip off or be rubbed off. VetWrap also comes in cool colours! quote:
speak, but nearly unintelligibly. (possibly, this one might be a ballgag) As other posters have commented on, panel-assisted ballgags are ideal (see the section devoted to panel style gags at BDSM toybox - https://www.bdsmtoybox.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=113 - which has about 20 of them. I actually have "453T Panel Gag Trainer" in my collection, and it is, fairly speaking, the most effective gag I have. quote:
How long can each of these types of gags be worn? Difficult to answer without knowing what the playtime was like, but since you should be observing your gagged playmate contninuously while they are gagged, and shouldn't be playing if they have a potential problem (like a nose full of cold), then you should be judging that on a minute by minute basis. Hope this helps.
