FelinePersuasion -> Talk about close to home (1/6/2006 5:09:52 PM)

a guy in our neighborhood well actually a few blocks away from us was caught robbing walmart an he kicked out a police car window and got away and tried to hijack a school bus an the bus driver wouldn't let him on an the cops tazed him an he was still fighting so they had to shoot him and the guy died right in front of the bus of school kids, And the news crew filmed the area and stuff and it's only like two blocks away, and one of the neighbor hoods they filmed was ours, I recognise the guy at the end of the streets broke stuckko house.

It is a shame that it had to happen in front of a school bus of children...other then that what is the down side...some POS who if he lived would continue to harm others is no longer here...but like I said it is a shame this had to happen in front of children..at least the school bus driver did not let him on the bus and the children were not harmed by him

Yeah it is ashame that kids were there when it happened. Instead of praising the officers involved, parents are more than likely going to be outraged at the traumaization of the shooting and most like try to sue the police department.

One a good note, atleast the kids now know that

1. People do die

2. It's not a good idea to fight the police

3. A gun, when aimed and fired at someone by another person, can and will kill someone by the one pulling the trigger.

With any chance, these kids will remember that stealing is wrong and can get you shot.

Feline should be lucky and proud to be in such a neighbor hood where cops take there job this seriously keeping the community safe from such holagans and reminding kids what happens when you veer the wrong way into criminalism. It's argued that society is what makes people into criminals. If that's the case, atleast Felines community law enforcement is doing it's part to keep the communities future from becoming such criminals by teaching its youth the harsh results of breaking the law.

Most everyone has something not so kosher close to home.

That's why you need to be proactive about your own safety.

sub4 a few years ago now a guy in a stolen car took the curve to fast an killed himself flipping a ditch, and when I was a kid a lil boy was ran over, and one time a speeder drove through a neighbors yard, Kosher stuff does happen it was just a suprise.

Hehehe MHO, well when we was in redding fires and floods were seasonal worries and we said we'd float our asses to sanfransico if our house flooded, but then you have earthquakes in SF, so every area ya have has it's downsides hehehe
