To me, I heard it best from an old Indian Chief many years ago..... "Where ever I step is Holy Ground, I give thanks to each step I take and to those who step with me or step on this ground" His meaning was very simple, we all owe something to more than ourselves now matter what we choose to call it. He choose to call it MotherEarth, for it gave him everything he needed and he treated it with that respect. The qoute, was to the US Congress, back in the late 1800's, his Great-Grandson told me the story as we walked.
