Where is LA? She'll be along soon enough to answer. I think it's not unheard of for people to "collar each other" so to speak. Kind of like marriage ;)

Why not both have collars?

Or, you could share one collar between you and just have whoever's subbing at the time wear it. Whatever is mutually agreed upon- make your own rules!

Sounds like fun!

i think weve come to an agreement to share the collar.. since hes the sub most of the time. wear it when were playing.. and in public if we want to.

It's yours and that person's relationship, so as others have suggested, make your own rules.
If you're both switching within the relationship, I wouldn't think it at all strange to each have a collar.  If there was a lean in a particular direction, one or the other could be collared and my personal preference for the non-collared one is to wear something (Example: a bracelet that matches the collar) to also symbolize their commitment.
Best wishes,

When in doubt I'd go with Darcy's suggestion.... you can never go wrong with that option.
Last month, I made a set of his and hers collars for a double collaring ceremony.
I will upload the photo of the collars as my Valentine's Day "On vacation" sign in a few days.
Best Wishes to you..
