Hello everybody. Hope everyone's doing well on this mild Friday night in Dublin. The weather being so unreliable either brutally cold or so damn wet and mild that it gives you stomach bugs, i thought id give everyone a laugh
a simple question
do you hunt for subs or do you find it easier to allow subs hunt for you

As a submissive I find it incredibly difficult to contact others, but I do/would search through profiles and leave a small note, if I'm terribly interested.

When I try to contact them, I get the same lack of response so many subs complain of on the boards.  Go figure.  So now I let them do the work of approaching me instead.  I find it's a much better use of my time.  The rare exceptions are for those who have said something so thoughtful in their profiles or blogs that I feel compelled to comment on it.  However, those messages are not with the goal of establishing a relationship, so I don't think they apply to the OP's question.

When I was looking I did both.

If a profile interested me I would drop a note saying "Hi, I found your profile interesting" or something. I didn't make the first move very often tho.

Before Master and I started talking on here we had looked at each other's profiles numerous times. Thankfully he said "Hi" first cause for some retarded reason i got realy shy every time I thought about emailing him first lol.

Last last partner i messaged first cause I loved the motorbike in his profile picture. *S*

I think as an adult everyone should be willing to put there neck out and try to meet someone, not sit passively by and wait for the perfect partner to fall from heaven into thier lap. Relationships take work, may as well start out in a forward motion.

In real life, I feel a girl can lure a man with her charms whether she is in the Dominant or submissive role being passive or aggressive.  Often I find I have to send a signal of some kind to inspire or invite a man to approach me whether he is sub or Dom.
Online, I personally do not initiate first contact though.

I will contact someone, dominant or submissive or whatever if I have something to say, something catches my eye.  In the past, when I was looking some, outside of contact as stated above, I didn't actively pursue anyone. If they had interest in me beyond the contact I made then they could and did let me know.

I've done both, been the first email, or been the respondent.  Even if contacting him first, though, I do like to sit back after I've shown interest and feel his pursuit a bit.
