Yeah, all the DC neighborhood bars, bistros and hotels are all pissed as hell about all this extra business they're doing now, during some of the worst economic downturns since the great depression. Ask the folks who sell Obama T-shirts, bumper stickers and buttons and banners... Ask the folks who manufactured those trinkets if they're happy for the work...  Let's ask the networks if they're getting more ad revenu from the swearing in, or from the POS Superbowl...

This party is raking far more income, and generating work, than the crappy GOP ones ever did. Funeral? Yeah, I remember Bush II's party... THAT was more like a funeral. Swearing in of that provincial Texas hack... and his sith VP... Turns out it was one of the darkest hours for the US since Pearl Harbor.

critisizing this- I mean really?  What did you expect, a funeral?  People all depressed?

as the left was told for the past 8 years- get over it.

the fact is that the GOP could have put up mccain in 2004, or Ron Paul in 08.  but they did not.  they restored dignity to the white house.

and now the country is on the eve of a civil war.  the left will blame to right and vice versa.  but THAT wont fix anything.

all of a sudden there have been 12 bail outs.  the bail out SHOULD have stopped everything.  this is not business as usual.

but not to worry, during a armed revolution, it wont matter if your shoes match your bag, and of the fashion is co-ordinated.

I dont think many have any idea what we are in for.    so this rage per the right or the left makes no sense.    be sure to wear the right outfit to your car jacking.

now this post is funny!!!!![sm=AttentionWhore.gif][sm=LMAO.gif]

I agree with this post and I want to add this.
People are coming to this city, because THEY want to be here.
They want to witness history.
They want to enjoy themselves, witness history and celebrate.

I don't understand the negativity many express on this thread.
People always go to events that they want to attend.
If millions of people want to come to see and celebrate the 44th Presidental
inauguration, let them come!

Don't be party poopers!

Mia, and hopefully we're going to see a new respect for the workingperson in this country again.
I've had it with these Robber Barons who think they're worth $25m a year but don't want to pay the truckdriver or food service worker who makes and transports their food $500 a week!
They're cocksuckers!
I want to see working people in this country again make enough to raise a family and buy a house without having to work 80 hours a week!
What the hell is wrong with that type of thinking?
The way things were going working people were becomming "serfs" in this country and "enough" was never enough for the Robber barons.
Funny, the "efficiency experts" never want to do what they want you to do, do they?
I sincerely hope P.E. Obama brings back that type of thinking to this country.
A good day's pay for a good day's work was what this country was all about!
When the wealthy look down their noses at and have no regard for working people they've lost any sense of "noblise oblige" that they had." (Maybe Kittin could spell that better than me.)
Greed is one of the seven deadly sins!
