I'm on vodafone but only because they were the only one who offered unlimited use of internet on my phone when I was looking for that feature. And as I tend to sleep at different houses from my employer (in residential homes sleep-in shifts) and spent lots of time in busses, trains and also at uni, that feature simply was important for me. Personally I would not suggest to go on vodafone as despite that they are in my opinion fairly expensive and before them I was for many years on virginmobile.

I have Verizon, but my plan is up in Feb.  they have been calling hot and heavy wanting me to renew.  They have nice people in customer service which is one reason I left AT&T, that and calls where being dropped left and right here and of course they didn't care....lol

Verizon is cool, but they are one of the more expensive plans, they charge for every little thing, and as far as working with you on a bill...which I had to do only one time...forget it.

I think I'll be going with Sprint next month.  I've be doing heavy research myself in he last few months and the people I know that have Sprint say that they have had no reception problems.  Also, I'm a tech junkie, and I just love the Instinct, I love the fact that I can watch TV.  I use my phone more for data than voice, especially in peak hours, so their plans suit me a bit better than Verizon.   Verizon just doesn't have a phone that I like better.

And everyone please check...I know all the major cell companies here give state employees a discount, so always check.

We'll see how it goes...lol  Weird but kind of scary changing after I've been with them for so long...kind of like cheatin'.....lol

I have Sprint because the SERO plan was too good to pass up - $70/mo for 700 hrs/month, with unlimited texting and Web access.

Now that the SERO plan is no more, I'm going to have to do some comparison shopping.

T-Mobile here too. There hasnt been a time that I went way over my minutes due to some emergency that they havent increased my plan and prorated it. I have never had to pay overage.

Plus right now my plan was a uber deal which I was told NOT to change as it was just to good to pass up and probably not be seen again for a while   I think 1500 minutes for 39.99.

Im with Tmobile because Im on my sisters account and she as been with them for about 8 years.

FYI  I used to work customer service for them, and they are the worst when it comes to customer service.  Expect up to an hour wait time if you need it and they have little authority to correct things correctly.

Over the years I have used a number of companies for various reasons. Of them all I prefer ATT due to the roll-over minute policy and their flexibility in changing my rate plan without extending my contract ( as Verizon does).

they were very understanding when my Dad was very ill and dying. i went way over my minutes and they gave me i believe 600 minutes for free and i could use over a period of two months. another time, i had a second phone on my bill which got lost/stolen...(never did figure out which) and i cancelled services and they did not make me honor the 2 year contract when i cancelled the services. Savage, i have that same plan, 1500 mins for 39.00...i have only gone over once, last month because i was on vacation for half the month and i made lots of calls and was called way more than my normal...damn safe calls...lol
wish they had roll over minutes tho...

I'm with T-mobile as well, and I pay $5.99 a month (in addition to my rate plan) for unlimited mobile-to-mobile to other T-mobile people.  I have also had to retroactively upgrade my plan, and that has saved me a ton of money on two occasions.  I'm not aware of any other company that will do that.

I'm with T-mobile because when I tried to get service, Sprint wanted me to pay my husband's old bill that he defaulted on, and I've been in a battle with them ever since (they've reported to the credit agencies that I defaulted on a joint bill... there never WAS a joint bill, he defaulted on it several months before I even MET him, aaarrrrghhh!!!!).  Also, AT&T said they wanted a deposit to the tune of $850 (because of the Sprint default - aaarrrrghhhh!!!!).  T-mobile was the first carrier that was willing to give me a contract without grief.

So all you T-mobile peeps calling me, now I know I can keep you on the phone forever because it's not costing me minutes.

Okay, I just double checked the contract dates on both of the phones in my family plan, and one doesn't end till August, the other is good to go now.  I want to port both numbers, but will have to pay $175.00 early termination fee.  At this point though, I use my cell phone so much that I think paying the early termination fee would still be the better way to go because of what I am paying in overage charges each month, even though I've increased my plan.  Phuk...  either that, or I just stop talking to you people altogether unless I'm at home where the calls are always included and free for me.

*le sigh*
