This chap was a favourite of mine as I was growing up, especially "Morph". Along with Rolf Harris he made me realise I would never be an artist, but I loved to watch him create his drawings and paintings.

Rest in peace Mr Hart

Yes, I just heard he has passed away at age 84, though I thought he were older, due to memories of his hair colouring. Still, I do believe he was instrumental in my interest in art, and having the confidence to continue with it. I Remember, I used to race home from school, to catch ' Vision On ' in which he showed his art and encouraged ums to send in their art for the gallery. Later his own show, ' Take Hart ', where Morph came into existance.

I always admired his ability to create a picture in any medium starting with a small detail and finishing in a bigger picture, the fun used to be to guess what he was painting as that small start detail evolved into the final result.

heh I used to practice the "Vision on" graphic to make it look like the lil froggie
Thats about as much  artistic ability I have.

Yes, the frog thing,  'Vision On' tipped on it's side and a mirror image of it, then it used to bounce off the screen. I tried drawing that thing as well. What was that fast moving furry thing that zipped all over the studio causing them to chase it when it appeared ?
