Well, i got to where i didn't know the song threads or the movie threads.  i thought there were a lot of folks who liked some of what i did know.  i think geeks are fun!

Itzhak Perlman... ok so he's a violinist, but I heard the story of how he re-wrote something on the spot as he played because one of the strings on his violin broke...

But Snopes. com says that it is not true... well heck..

My second cat Chopin von Beethoven, then Ravel the black lab, then Verdi the Birdy, all mispronounced of course, then cats: Bach von Catchiturian, Rimsky-Korsakov - a gorgeous black female persian, Tchaikovsky ( chicken cat) , Shasitkovich (sp) i could go on, but will spare you
NPR is my fave radio station, and i grew up with WQXR in New York City.
