I actually came from a place where there was no BDSM.

It was horrible.

I barely survived.

Eventually I summoned all my courage and...

Got a divorce.

You know, just to clarify something: I am not froma culture that considers suicide honorable at all, plus as catholic, if life is bad already, and Suicide is a Mortal Sin that grants you a direct ticket to Hell's worst pit, ¿ Why would I want to make eternity that bad for the rest of it when i had enough years on the Earth to want to NOT go through that again a single week more ? The question isn't about me, it was something I saw posted on a group on the web and considered worth discussing, or transplanting it here for it came from some peasant in a region of Paraguay who wrote on it and I just don't know how to tell him to man up and just walk it off and keep fighting since it's kinda hard to make him understand the concept at this point. Plus, at 50+ years old, unmarried, without children, love or any hint of success let alone a decent career, I wouldn't actually blame him much.

suicide over a physical condition or lack of makes no sense to me. I am not BDSM. I am not this or that label, when it comes down to it i am my mind only. I have personally known survivors of concentration camps who were stripped of everything, but not their mind. That in the end is all we need to be concerned about.
