FR

I was there for a week, skipped the inauguration hoopla at home.. and enjoyed it -- it was my fifth time there.. I'd recommend to anyone The Erotic Heritage Museum -- full of erotic art and fun stuff -- I was really prepared for something crappy but it was great...

I'm typically in Merc's corner when it comes to clubs, why pay a shitload for what you can get for free in some visiting Wyoming college girl's room at the Golden Nugget?

However, for your next trip my friends (if you trust the opinion of a bunch of 23-26 year old drunks, Marines and Airmen...yeah kinda redundant I know) decided to try out Ricks Cabaret, it used to be Cheetahs, then got replaced as a Scores franchise, and now it's in it's present ownership. Its a bit of a drive off the strip on Desert Inn I believe, but you cant miss it. At least to them it seemed like a great place, drink prices are a bit on the casino bar side of things though, should be at least worthy of a walk in...or drive, they have a valet service I believe.

RT,
Thanks for the input. I agree - It's much more fun getting a lap dance for the price of a drink from a drunken co-ed at a club than it is to pay $50 at a strip joint.

I'm really going to try and take in some club when we go back next month; although I think it would be more fun to go with a group.

For instance, we had a movie night at our house a couple of weeks back to show a blue ray 'director's cut' version of the 'Story of O'; 'THE' lifestyle movie. I'll tell you what, if beth and I watched it alone - we'd have turned it off after the first 10 minutes and gone down to the dungeon to film our own version. As it was, with 15 fellow 'life-stylers', it was so much fun! It was like a porn version of 'Mystery Science Theater'.

You should have heard all the comments about the activities being portrayed on the screen; especially during the bull-whip scenes, and the 'branding'. "YOU CAN'T DO IT THAT WAY - You need to make individual strikes!"

BTW - If the 'Story of O' were released today, the film may have a rating of maybe PG-14. Like a lot of things in the 'lifestyle'; the fantasy regarding the film is much more interesting than the movie itself.

Poor little 'O' when through more preparation than a French gourmet meal. She required so much prep-work that by the end of the movie we were referring to her as 'Coq au vin'.

Congrats on knowing how to spell 'coq'.
