If you were having a small Femdom Wedding, what would you do? Looking for ideas since I'm helping some friends plan their femdom wedding.

Classy kink; corset for her, tailored and complimentary clothing for him. Boots, I'm a fan of boots. Perhaps the addition of a dress collar along with presentation of ring for him and some sort of coordinating jewelry along with the ring for her (Key on chain, bracelet to coordinate, etc.). Wedding party also garbed in classy kink. Striking color scheme. Some sort of show of submission on his part during the reception, perhaps himdownon his knees as a preface to the first dance.
I don't know their tastes, so just tossing some ideas out there.

I did rope work for a bondage wedding once...

Both the bride and groom were tied up and suspended from the ceiling... A rope went from the chest of one, through the chest of the other, then off stage left where I was sitting... as the vows were read I slowly pulled them closer together... until they finally met at the moment he was told to 'kiss the bride'...

It's very easy to suspend someone where their arms/feet are free and they have a large range of motion. I understand most Dommes do not like the idea of being bound in suspension, but I've suspended a lot of Domminant women in ways that allowed them to feel they still have their control. Suspension doesn't have to be a 'power exchange'.

I have pics on a different computer, I could post them this weekend in interested...

If I'm remembering correctly, there have been a couple of very good past threads on this very thing. Along with the ideas you get in this current thread, you might find some more in the past ones.

I have seen a great pic of a corset style wedding dress. I'm not sure if I can post the name of the company who made it here, but I'll be happy to provide it in email. (These folks do top notch work. They make beautiful things.)

Our wedding is going to be very traditional, because that's how we want to be. We may have some semi-public nods to our relationship, including me taking the "Love, honor, and obey" vows as well as us being pronounced, "Maam and Wife". Now, this may not what we end up doing, we may just have a happy traditional wedding...and there's nothing wrong with that. :-)

I know this isn't exactly the answer you were seeking, but it might help. The Service of Mankind Church (which is a quasi-religious femdom organization) has been conducting weddings for quite some time. I think there might even be one of them on their site that is recorded. The reason I mention it is not to "sell" SMC, as the group is somewhat on a semi-hiatus these days, although I could be wrong on that, but that when it comes to ritual, which quite often is what a marriage ceremony consists of, they did a wonderful job of incorporating a whole bunch of femdom themes into their ceremonies. Now, not everything they do would be what you're seeking, but some of the elements might be what you're looking for.

I used to be an officer in the group, although I'm more of an emeritus officer these days because I'm rarely around the main church to help out like I used to in the old days, so I can tell you first hand that some of the stuff they did was pretty ground-breaking in the area of ritual. Some of the major icons of bdsm used to participate, although I'll avoid name-dropping because that sort of stuff can be figured out pretty easily just by searching them out for information.

my pet and i planning something more non-traditional since neither of us want a religious themed wedding. so, we're "eloping" to Vegas next year. plus we're writing and saying our own vows.

littlesarbonn mentioned SMC. One of their marriage ceremonies of which i am familiar occurred in the early '90's. The bride was more traditionally dressed, if i recall. The groom was naked, and led crawling down the aisle on a leash held by the maid of honour. A woman priest officiated. The groom remained on his knees the entire time. he did promise to 'obey' as someone said earlier. The ring cermony was very interesting. The groom/slave gave his bride/owner a ring. She, in turn took his leash and led him to an adjoining room, where he was professionally pierced twice (frenum and guiche) with rings inserted. There were a couple of female witnesses only, but the audience in the next room were able to hear his cries. When that was done, she led him crawling back to the altar and the cermony was completed. The priest told him that he could now kiss the bride, and he did by kissing her feet, now bare. It was a beautiful ceremony and very intense.

I have also envisioned a ceremony much on these lines. Perhaps not to the point of leading the slave off and having him pierced on the spot - night be a little intense for some people. I have thought that I would be kneeling at the alter naked, save for my collar and chastity device, and at some point I would present the key to the chastity device to my Mistress/Wife and she would then put the key on a chain and wear it as a necklace. The vows would include me promising to obey her, to provide for Her satisfaction and pleasure at all times, and to recognize Her as the sole source of any pleasure She may allow me. In essence, the ceremony would revolve around the exchange of power between the Mistress/Wife and the slave, and will define the type of lifestyle to be lived.

For FemDom weddings, personally I do not think there should be any nudity, sex, or the wedding ceremony stopped to do an intense scene or piercing. Personally I prefer subtle things incorporated into it.
