Nor will they always tell you in a timely fashion that you've made an error. Often times costing you even more money. That, of course, after they've gladly accepted your credit card payment for their stellar services.

They also won't refund your money (or resubmit your claim) if the IRS doen't get it for some reason ("connection error" was what I was told)

One small error on their part has snowballed into a mess that has cost me thousands upon thousands of dollars. And no, I didn't even get me fee back from them.

LOL I actually use TaxAct, which is FREE and efile. The only ones who will tell you you owe back taxes is IRS and perhaps your Tax Accountant. Software doesn't know and most of the people working HR Blockheads took a class on how to use the same software you get when you buy their commercial package. They do get a bit more instruction on larger more problematic returns, but the software does the work. Almost anyone who has major income, investments, etc either does it themselves or uses a Tax Accountant. poenkitten

Turbo Tax will tell you if you owe back taxes, it did for my X-husband....the cheater![:D]
