I'm very bored, and thanks to my 5 hour nap earlier, I'm also not remotely sleepy. I was originally going to just play Dance Dance Revolution until I passed out, but it seems my brother has usurped the games from me (we both own pads and he has a PS3 and I have a PS2) So it's come to this! I need ideas for what to do XD More specifically, which game to play while watching which show on my computer. Please pick only two options (one game and one show) to make this slightly more helpful XD Here's some more specific information about the choices: Suikoden 4: I loved this game... classic suikoden war battles are included as a minigame, but in general it was a big step in a weird direction since it focused completely on the islands. For those not in the 'know' Suikoden is a series based off of a (I believe) Chinese novel in which there is a mythology of '108 stars of destiny' congregating under one person to do great things. It's a top knotch series, and I own all five of the American releases for PS or PS2. Suikoden 5: See above for general info. I haven't ever had a chance to beat this game. I got to the last dungeon and lost my drive to battle through it, but I don't remember why. It may be because I didn't get all of the stars of destiny before that crucial point where you can't go back and get any more. It's definitely one of the better ones (probably coming directly after the first two in a list ordered by quality) with superior characterization of pretty much *every* character in the game. Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne: This game is purely scary. It's a great trip but very dark. Basically the world is brought to its end and before being revived as a new world, factions vie for power (magatsuhi, if I remember right) to change the fate of the new world. The main character, of course, plays the pivotal role of deciding the fate. I never finished this... got to the last boss and simply couldn't beat it. Part of the problem is that the power of every battle is determined on your own, which means, of course, that it's always a challenge. Problem was I had played and leveled until I got to max and *still* couldn't beat it (or be bothered to try and find a different team that could after breeding a dream team that worked fine on everything else). Final Fantasy 8: It's final fantasy, anyone who knows anything about RPGs knows about this franchise. I always get to right after they find out they were all from the same orphanage before I stop playing... no real reason why... even the artificiality of that part of the story doesn't really bother me. Xenosagas 2: It's almost painful... but I refuse to play 3 until I play through 2... 1 was such a great game... but 2 just needs an attitude adjustment. Plus, my CD doesn't play so well. At the same time, I really do get engrossed in this story... enough that it usually makes up for the annoyances in gameplay. Birds of Prey: A great series that got cancelled mid-first season based (loosely) on the comics of the same name. This form of Helena Kyle is simply amazing, but even better is Harley Quinn (you heard right, the Joker's crazy sidekick girl)... who is a personal love above any other comic book character. This inturpretation of her simply makes my legs quiver. Very action-packed. Firefly: Really... do I have to explain this? I'm a bit of a Firefly/Serenity maniac. I once watched all of the episodes (including the pilot and the movie) twice... once through, then again, stopping only for two bathroom breaks The Middleman: I'm not sure if this show got picked up for a second season, but it's absolutely hilarious in an off-beat way. It really is my kind of comedy (to give you a glimpse into my character). The earlier episodes are better, but it's really good all-around, too. The IT Crowd: This british show is so funny... sometimes when I watch it I have to pause to catch my breath. I'm a pretty geeky guy, so I love seeing geeky guys that I can identify with, sorta, get into the same situations. Plus, having gone to a school where my level of geekery was 'light' if anything, I really identify with Jenn. Scrubs: Ahh, scrubs. It's a fun one. Starts off kinda dull becomes really good, then sort of plataeus. Luckily the plataue is at 'good' I suppose! An excellent medical comedy. So there ya have it! :D Help me choose XD I'm going to put an hour time limit but I may just start playing after the first person suggests something.
