Just poped in to borrow a moment of your time and ask some advice. My Better Half really enjoys marking me with either hickeys or red skin and sometimes bite marks, I certainly enjoy having her marks on me. However we have run into a bit of a problem, I don't mark very easily. Most of her marks fade in 1 day if not a couple hours, even when she works at it for some time. This is disappointing to her since she enjoys the knowledge that I am walking around the world and work with her personal mark on me in a place only she can see. Neither of us is much into pain, though we are exploring and expanding together, pain at the moment is limited to her spankings (which she very much enjoys) and her biting. Now I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to pain I don't enjoy it at all, but I attempt to bear it for as long as I can sense I know how much she enjoys it. We aren't looking for anything truely permenant, more like something that will last 3-4 days and she can then make a new one elsewhere as she chooses.
So on to my point/question, has any of you had experince with a boy who wouldn't mark? What solutions both painful and otherwise did you find in order to leave your mark(s) on him? Any advice would be appricated I'd like very much to present her with a solution or at least things for her to try.

Thanks in advance for your time.
Taik

try an evil stick

It does sting, like between heat & a bee sting for a bit but I guarantee it will leave a mark.

The evil stick is a light weight item that will not cause deep bruising like a cane. It can make interesting straight line marks & if you get creative you can even form crude initials or one of my favs... kitty-cat whiskers.

There are also paddles with words on them like "slut" that work nicely---also for hickies, if you warm the are with a warm moist or hot moist towel---bruising will occur faster and last longer--

If you are not into pain you could use a marker and she could write something on you.

I also use the moist warm towel. It makes the skin more sensitive and easier to mark. My ioy is very difficult to mark. But that issue has been overcome, he now has a very high pain tollernce and loves the marks I leave.

I have never heard of a evil stick. That intrigues me. Since I have a high pain tolerance & love to be marked I don't really have any additional suggestions.

Thanks for the advice I'll pass on the towel, stick and paddle with words on to her. She already uses a pen at time but I don't think it is as much fun for her which in my mind is the whole point. I thought it good to also look into perhaps increasing my pain tolerance like another thread suggested. Well again thanks for the advice.

I have this problem with the corporal. Neither of us are big on pain, and I can't mark him for long without breaking the skin *sigh*

However, I LIKE to draw on people, so for me, markers are the way to go *grin* If you find something that works really well, let me know, ok? LOL

What sort of marks do you want? And the corollary: what sort of pain do you want? For deep but specific thud and bruises, use a shower curtain rod--less than $20 at Home Depot. Get the shortest one, practice a bit, and use it like a tip-heavy cane. Or, depending on how deep you want the sensation to go, use both hands and swing it overhead and down.

"Real" canes are also a good choice--go for three-eighths of an inch rattan for a lovely sting that's a few layers deep and leaves red welts when an area is hit once, purple when hit twice. Half-inch canes are good too--a little more purple, a little greater depth and rigidity. A friend swears by delrin canes for marking hard-to-mark people, but I think rattan is superior in sensation, control, and marking--you just need to get the right size and practice a bit. Also look into heavy, dense wood paddles--cocobola and bloodwood can be nice.

Do you want tiny, insect-bite-like sting? I second the evil stick (a fiberglass rod that can be bent back onto itself and snapped at the victim and also used as a cane--especially good for genital and nipple torture) for sensations, but I haven't found it marks well unless it breaks the skin.

Consider learning to use a singletail--as you grow advanced, you can vary the type and intensity of sensations at will, from a sting like the evil stick to a cutting sensation to a sensation like a fairly thin, perhaps quarter-inch cane.

If these don't work, there's always cutting with a knife. Even fairly light scratches will scab over like a papercut and last several days.

Good luck!

Monica

Honestly I seem to have this same problem of not marking easily, and most marks being gone within minutes, few lasting more than a couple of hours.

Thank you everyone for the imput! Im finding this rather enlightening and I'll keep it in mind.

Um ... I stated I'm not much into pain at all, none of those options fit for us. We do have floggers, and those leave nice little knot and bead shaped bruises on one of the boys ... haven't had a chance to see how they work on the corporal, but seeing as rob is very easy to mark when I bite him, and the corporal barely marks at all, I'm guessing there will be no little bruises on his ass.

And knife cutting is out entirely - I get way too much blood at work and I have no desire to get it at home. *shudders* I know that some people are into it, but I just can't do it.

Canes aren't our style - too thin and they can damage internal organs and you wouldn't know until it was too late; too thick or too thin and Holly wouldn't be able to hold it because of her DJD ... it's difficult making toys for us.

Really, we were (like the OP) just looking for ways to make marks more visible and lasting using similar methods to what are already in place ... not jumping to canes and knives from spanking and biting.

I don't know about the OP's Owner, but I do that already ... just short of breaking the skin. And it still doesn't last. When I do break the skin, the only thing that lasts is where I broke the skin - the bruising around it just fades in a couple of hours.

I've done fan patterns, and once I played with someone who had a very very high pain tolerance, so I gave him wings on his back-took a while, but everyone thought it looked soooo cool when it was done.

*clapping*

This is one of my favorite things to do.

Get a non-toxic marker though and you can get all sorts of colors these days! How well they should depends on your coloration.

Also take a shower so you're skin isn't oily.

But for leaving marks from SM play, franky you just have to try a lot of different things. I had one partner who was such a heavy masochist and whose skin was so resilent that she didn't mark for long at all. She made me a rope flogger and burnt the ends of it so they were hard and crisp but not really sharp. That left her with this little bruises after about 30 minutes that she could admire for about a week.

Well, take a picture and then shower when you're done scening with the markers. That's what I do and no, its not permenant, but depending on how long you wait to shower or put on clothes it can last for hours.

Note: being physically in contact with said marked up person will also get the marker marks onto you. So take a shower together!
