Are there other forms of Fire Playother than the rubbing alcohol/coton swab method?I was curious as i read that there are some BDSM play parties that have burning at the stake? is that true?

No, you misunderstood.

There are some BDSM play parties where they have burned the steaks.

I find the play where they set my hair on fire and I run screaming from the building quite jovial.

I can't speak for any play parties or anything since all I go to fire play is against the rules, However I don't know if you can safely do burning at the stake.

Burning at the stake, from what little I understand, depending on the method, causes massive burns to the body and you'll die from breathing in the smoke and your lungs filling up with fluid.

If it can be done safely it'd be news to me.

I don't know a thing about burning at the stake, other than it does in fact cause death, so I doubt you'd find it at a play party... at least most that have an emphasis on mostly legal activities. Most of the places I frequent do draw the line at death, accidental or otherwise...

as to other forms of fire play.. there are other things that are often considered fire play... including to use of flash cotton instead of alcohol and batons... there are also some cupping methods that can involve fire... as well as fire/heat play that I like.. which includes heating needles that I've already inserted into the skin...

I saw a great twist on fire play in a video once. The Domme took the submissive and tied her to a pole while she was standing on some cement blocks. Then the blocks were removed, and she was basically suspended. After this the Domme set up some tea lights under the subs feet so that she had a reason to pull her toes up. After that I think I remember her putting some birthday candles between the subs toes and lighting them, and then using something stingy to try and "blow" them out. It was a hell of an interesting thing to watch.

Obviously none of the flames were close enough to burn, but they were definitely close enough to be uncomfortably hot. Clearly this is one of those things that as a top you have to experiment with on yourself first heh.

i have seen some pics of fire flogging from the TX room on alt, the possums i do believe. hand cleaner and the like are good need to be 70% alcohol to work, can even use a violet wand to ignite it. safety is a must can be burned if not done right. Master Archer had a demo at 1763 doing fire play very good information. seek a instructor before you just try it.

I use flash cotton and hot needles too and I love the shock reaction it always gives. Flash cotton is a great party trick in a dimly lit room!
