Status: offline 		I know my answer to this, but my Master told me to put this on the site and see what responses I get back. His question is:

Why would anyone want to be a slave. They have not rights, and it is extremely unfair, so why do it?

My answer was::
For me being a slave frees my mind, body and soul. I love pleasing my Master and that itself boosts my self confidence and self esteem far beyond anything anyone else could do. Knowing that my Master is happy with me is pure Joy for me. If he is upset/disappointed in me, it crushes me until either I make it better(which takes a lot of time, and is very hard to do by myself), he punishes me and or he forgives me, or even a combination. I have yet to find anything to compare to that. I know in all my heart he will take care of me as well. I don’t have to worry. I don’t have to stress. It comes natural. I do what I have been meant for all my life. It is what I was raised to know and comfortable living with. I hate the punishment, but I know they are needed to learn and grow with. I make mistakes and I need someone to guide me in the right direction to be a better person. Does that mean I am secure? For the most part. I worry that if I screw up than he will get rid of me as he sees fit, but I also know that because he trusts me so much and I take good care of him, I would REALLY have to screw up for that to happen. I also worry that what I do would not be or do enough for him. I know I have so much more room to grow and learn and always will, because as Master changes I need to know what he needs and expects. A slaves job is never done, especially when it comes to their Masters. I like the challenge. I like finding new things to make Master happy. I liked learning about chess. Master loves chess. So when I play with Master, it makes him happy. The better I get the happier he will be. Master is proud that I am bettering my education as well. There are endless ways to make Master happy and that is all that counts. So ending Being a slave provides: security, self confidence, esteem, stressfree, Joy, Love, Care, Safety, and many more things. It shouldn’t matter to a slave that they don’t get to do things the vanilla society would. But me personally, if I did, it would be strange to me and I wouldn’t make it in that world. I am what I am and no-one can change that. I am delighted and thankful that I have a wonderful Master whom I trust with all my heart, soul and body. I know for a fact Master would never intentionally harm me therefore relieving me to be able to do my duties as his slave correctly.

Because I am more ME in a relationship as a slave.

I have no idea WHY I am more ME in a relationship as a slave any more than I have an idea of why I am more ME in a relationship that is polyamorous, but I am.

I am still ME even not in a relationship as a slave, quite fulfilled, quite busy, quite in love and happy. But I become more ME with each experience and relationship I have that resonates for me.

"I" am a house domestics service slave only...but I have rights..both as Her boy and as an American citizen...and I use both.

why be a slave?

it all boils down..it's who ya are.....

to ME subbies that play-at-it...like some weekend warrior..AINT serious...it is jus-a-game to em.

Ok is that the only reason why someone would want to be a slave, or do you not have an answer? There has to be a reason you would want a slave is you are not one. Why are slaves important to Masters?

Ahh what I LIKE about being a slave is a very different question than why I choose to be in a relaitonship as a slave.

What I enjoy most is being me more than I would be on my own. It's a fairly selfish thing really.

a slave is in it full time..

I don't feel i have a choice, it's what resinates inside me, it's who i am. It's like breathing, it's something that i do to be alive.

Now granted, when i was younger, i thought i could hold my breath and breathe...i just knew i had gills and that was that. (thanks to my beloved grandfather that told me i could be anything i wanted to be......i knew i was a fish) I found out i was wrong.

As far as having no rights....ehhh, i don't believe that for a moment...you can get up and walk out the door just as anyone else can. It would probably mess up a persons head to do that, but it can be done.

The extremely unfair part i don't buy either. Who says it's unfair? someone 'outside' of the persons relationship? pffttt, who the hell cares what they think/say?

My Master had me post this because under a different site Master is on, there was some question about it. Master asked the same question on his site, but he wanted to hear what others had to say on this site as well. I am like you. I dont care what anyone else says or thinks, except Master. If I want to say no, I can however, it is Master choice on weither or not it continues. I dont view it as unfair. It is my life and this is how I choose to live it. If it wasnt fair than I wouldnt be here. I do it becasue it is me and what I know and am comfortable with, like my posting said. Not because I am made to.

I like your answer. I agree with it 100%. I can be myself with Master. Master accepts/encourages/requests it. I know about it being a selfish thing. More importantly I love pleasing Master though.

I would think that a slave of a thirty year master would know better. But I guess it proves that being in this lifestyle a long time does not always mean you can pick good students. Is Mistress Laura reading your postings here?

Personally, I go down that route because it's exotic. In life, I'm a very dominant and controlling person. I can control others just as easily as any Master or Mistress on this site. So, the complete contrast, of not getting what I want, of being denied anything and everything I could want, to be subject to anothers will is very appealing to me. It's a complete switch up.
