Hmm...well I have a somewhat different take on this. I have red hair and the pale skin that goes along with it. For years I put up with comments like "you're going to blind me with the glare off your skin" and "do you glow in the dark." I could never spend a lot of time outside without having sunscreen on, and even then I would have to cover up after a couple of hours. So I got the occasional sunburn because I enjoy spending time outside. A couple of years ago I went to see my doctor about an ugly looking mole that was growing on my shoulder. It turned out to be cancerous. They also removed a couple of others they told me were pre-cancerous. I was told that I should stay covered up outside for my own good. So I've given up on being naked unless its necessary. I don't like the comments, and I'd rather not take the risk.

I am glad that I have never had issues with being unhappy being naked, I was raised in a nudity friendly family, so I've been around nudity my own and others since I was a small child, and even as a overweight women now days, I am still happy and comfortable naked. quote: ORIGINAL: Vendaval We have had some great discussions on here about the difference between being naked and being nude. FR I loath my body, I love being naked, on my own when no one can see. Im ok with my boobs being out but other than that I get so embaressed. I kinda like being told to be naked though, that gives me a hell of a lot of confidence (well if it was repulsive to them then they wouldnt be wanting me naked now would they) but out of choice im a lights out, undress under the covers kinda girl

I can't see myself being happy with my daughters seeing grown people naked. I don't even like it when they walk in on me in the bathroom.

First - Glad to see you've escaped from the gulag and are gracing us with you presence once again, Domiguy. I've been sleeping naked since I was thirteen. It drove my parents nuts but I just found it more comfortable. I'm not comfortable being nude in a public place like a beach but I do love sleeping naked with a naked woman. On a cold winter night, nothing warms a mans bed better than a hot blooded - NAKED - woman.

I burned or freckled. I can't tell you how often I hear... can I connect the dot's and count them. I see a man coming at me with a pen and the look they get scares the hell outta them! BUT... there come's the one who loves that pale skin... or even freckles and they tend to be more into that paleness than anyone I met who got into a tan! I also had the pre-cancerous and now need someone to watch my spots... hehe Now how hard should that be? !#&%*!

haha, that (a co-ed weekend retreat) would hardly help me [:D] scar me beyond relief, maybe. I dunno, I can't even be naked unless the lights are off. (It's funny because it's mostly my bottom and thighs that I'm self-conscious about... and they're the most toned, strong, and 'powerful' parts of me. It probably goes back to body dysmorphia induced by my other 'issues' [:D]) Even then I don't really feel good about myself. I hate my body entirely, especially being reminded of the fact that it is the way it is shrug. It's not an issue that I can't really ever get over, but the only times I can remember being naked and feeling good about it are when I was naked in bed with my ex and cuddling. If I could, I would have sex without being naked (and, actually, a good amount of the time I can). It throws me for a loop whenever someone finds my body attractive. I honestly can't fathom it.
