I have traveled with my toybag on Delta airlines close to 60 to 70 times now. This is strictly domestic travel in the United States. I always checked the luggage. The biggest risk might be is the air line looses your luggage. I would not attempt to try any carry-on luggage toybags as I am sure most items would not get past the metal detector. They do not care if you have metal in your checked bagged.
