Gleegal67 -> An amazing weekend at SWLC in Phoenix (1/27/2009 10:47:02 AM)

This last weekend was the Southwest Leather Conference here in Phoenix, AZ. WOW!!! This conference is about 500 attendees and that size made it a very intimate environment. It focuses on alot of spiritual aspects of BDSM and some people say it's more 'woo-woo' but honestly...it really was amazing! There is a Dance of Souls...the Dungeon Fri/Sat nights had tremendous energy that I am still high today...the Presenters were so wonderful...the People from all over really made for an incredible experience. I watched a blood play demo by WhipMasterBob and BootPig - I HIGHLY recommend seeing them if they are presenting near you - they had a 'Dexter's Room' set up made of pvc pipe and plastic that is very portable and easy to assemble. I have never seen a demo or a scene that effected me on such a primal level before. The sight of the blood on her skin...on his hands...the heat in both of their eyes...the passion that was shown to us...the intimacy between them...the smell of her blood...oh my!! I was floored by watching the knife slice her skin with paper thin type cuts that he had made bleed. Then he had made a couple of little cuts on her back and placed some suction cups on the cuts...and started vacuuming the air out of them...the cups had filled with blood...and that's when the fun really began for them...oh my goodness!!!! I had a lovely friend near by me to keep reminding me to breathe...she told me my eyes were as big as saucers and I was turning a bit blue from not breathing...I didn't know I was doing self breath play! By the end of the presentation, seeing the blood splattered on the plastic on their bodies...I was ready to orgasm...and I wasn't the only one in the room like that either! I've been whipped, cut, bit, to the point of blood...but nothing like this! I had no clue something like this would effect me to this primal level. I believe we all have had moments of...'Holy Mackerel! That is sooo HOT!" I'm passing the sharing stick....would you like to share your moment(s)? ****Disclaimer**** There was a LOT of talk on safety and medical...I would not recommend having myself or anyone else just dive right into the blood play...no matter how much I'm dying to...there will be precautions and communication, communication, communication and trust and medical facts present and lots of education prior to any play like I tried to described. Michele ~the gleeful one still trying to catch my breath just typing a portion of my memory~
