Ohka -> Boy in Houston who wants to become a Girl (1/27/2009 5:35:22 PM)

I am a 23 year old boy living in the Houston Area who realizes that
cannot be happy living as a man. I want and need to be taught or trained by another woman or TG how to be a woman as well. I have wanted to be a girl since I was 12 years old. I am very shy and nervous person, so I need someone to show me the way on how to act and dress as a woman.

I am so desperate to begin my transformation to become a girl that I
ordered hormones and I even finished taking about a month's worth of hormones but I will run out shortly. This last month on hormones though was great, and my chest felt fantastic. I cannot wait till I start developing physically as a woman. Please, someone please help me become a woman as I develop both mentally and physically.

There are trans-specific support websites where you can get much more specific advice about transition than you could get here. I strongly suggest you try that.

You need to see a therapist and an endocrinologist who have experience dealing with the transgendered.  The therapist will have resources and information to help with your transition and the endo will check your blood to make sure you're healthy enough to take hormones and put you on a sensible regimen before you damage your liver or throw a clot.

I appreciate the responses and trust me, I will be careful and not reckless. I just really hope that I find someone who wants to help guide me or if anything be my friend.

As a lifelong transgendered individual I'd suggest taking it very slowly and very carefully.  In particular, be sure to place yourself in the hands of competent medical professionals before doing hormone therapy.  In addition, as has been suggested, psychological help will be very useful in helping you deal with the stress and challenges associated with considering, or engaging in, transitioning.  Good luck on your journey.
