In my opinion...
Some limits are based in fear, and these limits are fine to push... other limits are based on complete disinterest, moral views or turn offs, these limits should not be pushed...
If you have an interest in women, but haven't explored it due to fear of being judged, fear of being abnormal, etc, etc... I would gently push... If you simply weren't interested in women sexually, I wouldn't push...
That being said, if the man involved has never been in a threesome, I can understand his desire for you to push yourself or allow yourself to be pushed... It is something you may want to consider to do as a gift to him, but I wouldn't compromise yourself to do so...
