If it weren’t for Milla’s purely aggressive role in Ultraviolet, I might have disagreed with you and mentioned that she often plays reluctant heroines like Joan of Arch and the Resident Evil series. Whereas, Laura Croft is a shark and should be played by a huntress at heart like Charlize’s roles in Monster or Aeon Flux.

Yes, those were both good roles for Milla and Charlize. Though if you're talking about a good aggressive role and appropriate actress, what about Kate Beckinsale? Thought she done a damn good job in Underworld.

Ehhh they change who Laura Croft is and the show will tank. I know that I watched the HORRIBLE sequal all because I wannted to see her in those short shorts again. Steel

Sometimes it works. But I can not seeing it working in this case. Love her or hate her. Angie is the movie version of Laura Croft.

She was the only reason I watched those horrible movies...oh well won't be seeing the next one.

~Fast Reply~ While I love her in the movies, I don't think it's going to be big deal in the long run. If they make the movies a successful series, they need to try and emulate the James Bond model of being able to swap out actors and actresses.

Wasn't she told over a year ago that she wasn't in the running for an action movie unless she gained enough weight and muscle to look, and do, the part? Because as skinny as she is, she isn't realistic as a character running through jungles, fighting the enemy etc.
