MsMillgrove -> RE: Is confession ever wrong? (2/8/2009 12:43:54 AM)

Wow what an ending.  Both were cheating on each other?  Never saw it coming. Not too sure exactly what was the "lesson" here, except maybe that we don't  know, even with our best friends, what it's like inside their home/hearts...we think we know after years and years of being with them and their S.O. but you never really know do you?

Absolutely. Now I'd like regular updates so that their progress is monitored and we can make sure they are *doing it right* .....grins wickedly.

just one of those things that never quite make sense unless you consider that there was really something wrong at home for both of them to be looking outside the marriage. Neither of them had ever heard of CM until I showed her this thread, which helped her to see the big pic , and they are actually considering poly. Go figure...

well its a done deal. Abby told Mark and her honesty with him helped him to open up to her. Apparently Mark has been having an affair for the past year! The two of them are taking 4 days off together to see where to go from here. Thanks you all for your the input and time!

Hopefully they will work out the root causes of why they both strayed. I wish them all the luck in the world. A determined couple can come back from these things stronger than ever!

Wow. Hopefully things work out for them a little better because of this. I wonder if being exposed to collarme will cause them to reveal one or two other little things they've been holding back. ;o)

I think it just goes to show honesty is the best policy. Relationships are going to be rocky, but you can make them a little smoother by opening up to your partner.

MasterTslave -> RE: Is confession ever wrong? (2/11/2009 9:07:24 AM)

Wow...like I said...there was really something wrong in that relationship for the screwing around.  I was screwed around on by 2 very close relationships.  I knew that I couldn't trust either of them.  It only really hurt the second time...you know the saying screw me once, shame on you...screw me twice, shame on me.  I just know that if I ever had a thought of wanting to be with another man, I would be having a serious talk with Master T.  I would hope that he would do the same.  It would be very hard for me if he ever told me that he was thinking about another woman...BUT it would KILL me if I ever found out that he was cheating on me.  I would really NOT take that one well...and I think that goes both ways with our relationship.

The times that I have been cheated on (in past relationships)...it was different...there was always something HUGE lacking and we both knew it the whole time.
