Having flown both before and after the TSA came along and having worn my collar when traveling here and abroad i have never had an issue with wearing it through security. i took it off and put it in my bag last time through in Dusseldorf, the problem was when in the bag getting scanned as my carry on they can not see through the solid metal and they freak when that happens. American agents, had one once who wanted it off, i pointed back to Master, said let him through and it will come off. They didn't i got a bitchy look from the gal and she just huffed and let me through. Newark agents were the coolest, they asked..ohhh slave collar? i said yes, i got a smile and a wave through..that though was before 9/11 As long as when you set it off and explain to them that hey, it is metal, it is solid, i got a key want it off? they won't have an issue with it.
