I live in Washington, and was glad to see Seattle get as far as they did..... however........ that being said I've been a Steeler fan for as long as I've lived. As long as we don't have another zebra fiasco on Super Bowl Sunday I personally think we are all going to get to see one heck of a good game.

GO STEELERS

Steeler's To Wear Away Uniforms

The Steelers are designated as the "home" team for the Super Bowl and can wear their black jerseys. Cower has made the decision that they will continue to wear their "away" white uniforms.

nevermind.

caitlyn -> RE: Pittsburgh's Goin to the Super Bowl (1/24/2006 7:25:01 PM)

It seems like most of the media thinks the Steelers are a shoe-in to win the game.

As a resident of Texas, I feel compelled to point out that the last shoe-in the media had was that USC would win the Rose Bowl and be the greatest college team of all time.

I'm not a big football fan, but you can't avoid knowing something about it when you live down here. Trust me, I've tried. [;)] I don't really care who wins, but if I was a Steeler fan I would be really worried about that Seahawk quarterback. He looks like he is really hot ... and he throws pretty good too. [;)]

Hi Caitlyn! So cool of you to stop by.

I wonder what Heather said, then took back. She probably wants 'em to wear their black jerseys.

I'm not worried about the Seahawks. I think the Steelers' rough road through the playoffs has prepared them. And Big Ben is smokin' right now too.

It will be a good game.

Bondagegod35 -> RE: Pittsburgh's Goin to the Super Bowl (1/24/2006 11:32:03 PM)

Steelers are on a misson. This game will be alot closer then I like. However, the bus will ride off with a ring. Here we go Steelers Here we go.

talmar -> RE: The Seahawk Confereration (1/25/2006 8:40:20 AM)

The Seahawks are a good solid team. You have a great coach. I just don't think the seahawks can match the physical brand of football we play. The Colts were a dominant offense to & they went down. I look forward to a great game & I stick to my earlier prediction Steelers win 27-17.

KatyLied -> RE: The Seahawk Confereration (1/25/2006 1:40:00 PM)

Talmar, have you been checking out nfl.com? There have been plenty of good stories about the mighty Steelers over there, you'd like it.

KatyLied -> RE: The *REAL* Dynasty (1/25/2006 1:41:30 PM)

Who keeps changing the subject line? You are so messin' with me!!

talmar -> RE: The *REAL* Dynasty (1/25/2006 4:33:21 PM)

Yeah who is doing that! I am assuming its the moderators. I bleed black & gold. You can ask the Dommes I have played with.
Katy I will check NFL.Com out. I usually use that site to get fantasy football stats. And I have not looked at it in a few weeks.

KatyLied -> RE: The *REAL* Dynasty (1/25/2006 4:58:51 PM)

I go there every day. They are all lovin' on the Steelers. After most of them said they wouldn't make it on the road. Now it's all about how wonderful they are. But it's good reading. And they are also lovin' on the Seahawks too.

subtlesubie -> Seahawk Victory Cruiser (1/25/2006 11:33:24 PM)

Not that i want to provoke an argument, but here's the latest from NFL.com

"...but what really blew me away was how physical the Seahawks are. They dominated the line of scrimmage against a Panthers team that pushed around the Giants and Bears on both sides of the ball in back-to-back weeks. Did you know the Seahawks led the NFL in sacks this season with an even 50?"

There is still time to leave the Black and Gold behind, and jump on the Seahawk Victory Cruiser (SVC)!

KatyLied -> RE: The *REAL* Dynasty (1/26/2006 4:50:15 AM)

It will be interesting to see if Pittsburgh starts with an onslaught in the air. It has worked for them the past few weeks as everyone is set on stopping the run.

talmar -> RE: The *REAL* Dynasty (1/27/2006 8:35:17 AM)

Katy,
Hey. Are you going to the rally today?

KatyLied -> RE: The *REAL* Dynasty (1/27/2006 4:39:37 PM)

No, is it in the city? Because I rarely venture there and only when I'm certain as to where I'm going. Otherwise I get filled with anxiety....too many bridges, too many overpasses, etc. But I continue to be.......

yours in Steeler excitement!

talmar -> RE: The *REAL* Dynasty (1/27/2006 5:02:59 PM)

It was at the stadium. I saw some of it on TV. Ward & Bettis promised to get us One for the thumb. I think 30,000 fans showed up.

KatyLied -> RE: The *REAL* Dynasty (1/27/2006 5:06:50 PM)

Damn, that would've been fun.
Have you been reading up over at nfl.com?

lisaSea -> RE: The Steeler nation (1/27/2006 5:48:38 PM)

*waves her lil SeaHawk flag*

It's a new year...time for a team that has never won the SuperBowl to take the banner. Around here, (and I'm sure it has NOTHING to do with the fact Master is from Seattle)...we wear SeaHawk jerseys and pay homage to the bird.
