MusicalMaster -> manacles that lock when closed? (1/31/2009 11:12:16 PM)

about eight months ago someone I was talking to linked me to a website that was selling shackles and manacles that had a built in lock that shut when the manacle was closed- no need for padlocks.  I've since lost the link and cannot find anything like them on other sites I know of.  Does anyone know where I might find something like this?

Uuuuhhh.. I know what you mean, but you can buy "vintage irons" from a few antique dealers and I have copied and pasted a few links below, which might get you more info.. I used to have Hiatt Darby Style Irons in my "fun room" in Los Angeles, and these were THE BEST EVER.  They were heavy, did not chafe and your slave knew she "yours" when she was put in them.

I also love the stuff from Axsmar (great german steel and self locking... you need a special "key" to get them off, so your slave cannot even get them off with a screwdriver)  I copied and pasted the link below:

If you get somethign form Axsmar, then let me know... I want to see it on your slave.  They are sooo sleek and sexy. ;-)

Good luck and get the removable U-bow, so that your slave is always wearing it, even when she is not attached to a chain.  It is even fien to wear outside the home.

Godo luck and have fun!

I almost forgot... I liked the hephaistos line the best.  That is the one with the removable U-bows and is very sleek.

thank you all for the links.  The Axsmar items are mostly like what I'm wanting.  They're german, right?  Any idea what kind of import taxes I might expect to incur?  I've never ordered anything from outside the US before.

Just send then an email (in english) and they will let you know the costs, etc.  They used to DHL it, but DHL not longer delivers in the US, so maybe they UPS it now.  It is just like you are ordering it from across the country, except it is a bit more expensive, but very worth it.

Just had to put in my two cent's worth.

Try S&M Factory, also from Germany. www.sm-factory.com if memory serves me correctly. Also www.treume-aus-edelstahl.de

Both of these companies sell products with integrated locks that snap shut when the devices close. So no hassle with lost padlocks etc. Both are a bit on the expensive side, but still cheaper and more solid-looking than the Axmar variants, which, to my eyes seem more ornamental. Even though they are stunning as hell.

This may help. I recieved my axsmar cuff on 9-15-08. It took about three weeks to put together. At the time I paid a total of $340.00 U.S. I had it sent regular mail for about 17 dollars. UPS was around 100 dollars. Even with regular mail I received the cuff within 7 days. You will get a tracking number from Gerd but I discovered that once it left Germany DHL info was not transferred over to USPS. I was not able to track it further.
I did not have to pay a tax and I was concerned over that also.
Hope this helps. Keep us posted :o)
you can see images of the cuff here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/castironskillet/
