I've been trying to visit CM'ers when I vacation in the summertimes.
This year I'm going to Wyoming. Anyone in that fine state? Or nearby?

Nope. Go further north and then east for me Potty.
Unless you meet me in Montana, I want to see the mountains in your eyes.

I'll meet you for coffee (or whatever) if you decide to swing through Boise!

I vacationed in Wyoming last summer, and so now three of my profile pics were shot there - the rock, the mountain range (Grand Tetons), and the Yellowstone sign.

Be sure to visit Grand Teton National Park while you're in Wyoming. Rent a canoe at the South end of Jenny Lake, paddle to the opposite side of the lake and do some fishing, hiking or just some sightseeing.

That whole area is fantastic!

I'd love to drive up and meet you.  I'm in Colorado.  You know, that rectangular state just south of Wyoming..

Has nobody told you, Potts, that there are no actual people in Wyoming??  Only fences.  And pronghorn.  And sage brush.  I always wondered what all the fences were for.  Does the sage brush try to escape to mingle willy-nilly with the other guy's sage brush??  I could understand it if they just put a fence around the entire state so that it wouldn't encroach on the rest of the states.

The other thing there is a lot of in Wyoming is wind.  Driving along I-80 there are signs every 5 miles that say, "Gusty winds next 5 miles"  I thought they should just put them at the borders & save money.

Wouldn't work, Linnaea....~grins~...too much space between the borders and people forget.

Oh, yeah.  There's all that stuff in between that's so distracting.  Like sage brush.  And fences.  And the wind wouldn't be a reminder.
