See there are people here who are regulars, you recognise their icons and often can work out the kinds of things that their posts will be about. Daily new people start to post and I wonder if people can spot which ones will become regulars and which one will drop off the map. The only reason I ask is because of the wonderful Nikita who as soon as I read a post of hers realised that she was going to be a hell of a lot of fun to read. Some people seem instantly to belong.

Anybody who whines drops off the map. We have little tolerance for people who don't have personal responsibility and do have agendas and hidden expectations.

But guessing who will hang around? That's too hard for me.

I am on here because a couple of other sites that I was on closed. Be glad that this on stays open. If you have an idiot bothering you send them my way. I enjoy playing mind games with them.

I've been here over 3 years... But when I first started posting, I was shy, and didn't get into anything too serious.  I tried to just latch on to a topic and stick with it.  Now, I'm a bit more open, and will post about anything.  Except I do, sometimes still feel selfconscious about my posts.  But I don't think that you can REALLY tell if someone will be around for a while by there first couple of posts.  Unless people could tell be mine.  But I doubt it.
