FangsNfeet -> SSDD anyone? (1/13/2006 10:46:50 PM)

So it's been Friday the 13th and the start of a Full Moon.

It was just the same shit different day for me. How was your day?

It was Friday. I dealt with screaming first graders, napped for half an hour when I got home, dealt with a weird health insurance mix-up, ate entirely too much really awesome pizza, played around on Collarme, watched Law and Order SVU, did some online gaming and now I'm going to bed. Same old same old, really. I'm still holding out for the werewolves.

I work help desk...so every day is a long series of the weird being outdone by the weirder, when i say SSDD, what I really mean is "It just gets weirder and weirder"

Great day, secretly continued plans for the 16th birthday surprise party---(mooowwaaaahh)--got the menu done for the dinner party, took a long walk with the soon to be 16 and the bubble butt dog, got the flight arrangements done to see the boy--worked, took a long lunch out with teen and engaged in a deep conversation about the grwing popularity of the label "bi"with UM's-chatted with the boy, watched Most haunted--gawd Derrick is hot--got irritated because the bf of the teen called in the middle---and the full moon started 2 days ago---<smiles>

yep pretty typical--

My mini me decided to puke all over me this morning...twice.
Oh the joys of motherhood.
Guess I won't be going out tonight. Got to go cancel the sitter. :(
On an upnote...she's real cuddly when not up to speed.

Nothing unusual here. Although, I am in an RPG campaign, and Thursday night was the second month in a row when the session was cancelled during a full moon. I am beginning to suspect my GM is a werewolf. Can anybody suggest ways I can confirm this?

My dad was scheduled to have a cardiac catheterization on the 13th. I didnt want to mention that it was Friday the 13th...so I kept my mouth shut and hoped the fact that it was also my late grandmother's birthday would sort of even out the luck (yes, nurses are incredibly ...dont you dare say the words "quiet" or "bored" on my unit). Well, there was an error in the way his medication was ordered and subsequently dispensed and administered, which was caught by the nurse at the cath lab and it was postponed til Monday. Had it not been caught, he could have had serious or even fatal complications.
So....it seems the bad luck of the 13th was, indeed, avoided, confirming belief that my late grandma was "watching over him" on her birthday.

Now I've been tell him that having it on Monday is as good as having it on my late grandma's birthday because Dr. King will be watching over him on that day.

I told you nurses are given to superstitious leanings...another Friday the 13th survived without injury, but hardly SSDD.

Didn't realize it till after the fact....so yep...another typical day in the life of a blonde....a day late and a dollar short...
