haha thats an excellent question, Im not going to take anything word for word, nor paraphrase, simply because I cant, since obviously this isnt an academic journal, ergo it isnt a "legit source" to use as a footnote. However Im just asking for your own imput of if you think there are some valuable purposes for perversions. It would be quite entertaining to see a list of sources like of Madame4a, Washington DC. 2009. That wouldnt work at all lol.

Depends on whether or not you're using MLA format.  There are established guidelines for using quotes from both interviews and electronic resources if you use MLA.  Your best bet would be to ask people to contact you by PM if they are willing to go "on record."  You can then consider those exchanges independent research and cite them as interviews.

However, you'll need to reword your questions to present them in a neutral fashion.  They way you've worded them here won't work.  They're too heavily biased.

Your university should have access to JSTOR and ProjectMuse.  Check there for some good articles.

Don't you have to first verify whether or not the rights of what is maintained and stated on CM's message boards are actually the posters ownership or CMs?  If it is CM's *which i believe it maybe due to concepts that can and cannot be discussed, CM would take the fault not the poster legally* then the only permission he would need to quote would be CM's not the individual user's yes?

I may be wrong, but the fact that the message board is owned by a website and the website is responsible for the contents that gets discussed, it stands to reason once you post here, your words are no longer owned by you but instead are owned by CM.

It's in the ToU that CM is not responsible for the contents created by its members, I believe... so, no.
